This is a great matt for places that don't have a lot of room. The knobs that stick out help your feet know where you are in space. If you don't feel the knob in the center, then you've drifted off and will probably be hitting something soon! There is also an off center knob that helps you know where the front is. this way you can feel for that knob to know what direction forward is. And the matt is raised. This allows you to know when you are getting to the edge of the matt and again, will be hitting stuff. This matt has a good amount of stiffness to feel solid, and softness to be comfortable on your feet. Great addition to your VR supplies.

This is a very good mat, thick but not so thick you're sinking into it. Think enough pad to be comfortable, but not slow you down. I use it on a tile floor, it stays in place well. I leave the mat down all the time. The cats even like sitting on it 😀 I originally looked at some Yoga mats that were larger. I'm glad I bought this one with the center button so I know where I am on the mat at all times. There's nothing like having a strike coming up, and you suddenly see your room in the pass through. LOL Staying centered on the mat stops that.

The mat is very solid, great material. It however never completely lost the kinks in the material from shipping, a little rough on the edges. I wish the buttons were optional so I could have regular foam. I can take out the buttons, but then you have holes in the mat.

Very durable, I can wear my shoes while working out on this mat. It is heavy enough to reasonably stay in place while I have my headset on. My area is carpeted so 0 mat movement is really hard to achieve. The centering marks are helpful to keep me centered on the mat. It is cushy, and the surface keeps my feet from sliding in socks or shoes.

I bought this to use for Supernatural, since you spin 360 in some of the workouts. At first, the outside nub annoyed me but I got used to it and did not fill with the extra enclosed mat pieces. Definitely helps with tight space VR use- no more boundary pop ups

This works great for what I needed. I like to work out in VR, and this mat is good. It stays nice and flat and feels sturdy. It does sometimes slide a bit (not in a hazardous way). The grips that come with the mat could be better. I plan to get something stronger to hold the mat more securely.

Does what it’s supposed to do — helps you not wander around as much in VR. Saves your knuckles (no more hitting the wall, lol). Sturdy & well made. Has a premium feel, it’s about 3/8” thick with a textured but somewhat glossy/ smooth surface. The bottom is a more grippy rubber texture to reduce migrating on the carpet. The foam is firm & springy, feels good to stand on. This would be a *huge improvement* for someone gaming on a hard floor. The printed design is cool, seems it should last a while. The middle “foot button” is easy to find in game to center yourself, but if it were any thicker it could tweak people’s ankles a little bit. The outer button doesn’t do much. (I think it could help people a little bit if they’re trying to keep facing one direction). The mat is a little heavy (around 8 lbs) so not the easiest thing to move around, but that speaks to the thickness & quality. You can easily roll & lean it against the wall or store in an empty corner. When deployed it’s not exactly “in the way,” since anyone can walk on it. But I would suggest not using tennis shoes on it if you want to preserve the design longer. I know it seems silly to get this but if you’re really into VR - especially intense/ shooter games - just try it ;)

Great quality mat. We have dogs and it can withstand the wear and tear of two dogs running around on it when my kiddo isn't playing. Kiddo hasn't left that circle since I bought this, great tactile mat. An absolute must for a parent for sure 👏
