  • Good product
It works great when targeting areas that have whiteheads or surface level acne it does not do much for below surface skin acne, which was expected. The gun is easy to use and for me it doesn’t cause much skin irritation. It just doesn’t work too well for me because my face is really clean. The tools that come with it are really effective. Those are the winner for me but if you do have more oily skin and more acne prone skin, the gun will work for you. ... show more

  • The best one on the market that I've seen
I've bought at least half a dozen of these pore vacuums. This is the only one I would ever recommend anyone else purchasing and one of the least expensive I've seen. The other pore vacuums I've had have either been chintzy and stop working within 6 months to a year, or are overpriced with poor suction. A lot of the cheaper models also have poor suction control and far too much suction which can end up damaging the capillaries of your skin and making it look far worse. This one has powerful enough suction for thicker skin and stubborn areas with the ability to dial it down for thinner and more sensitive areas of skin. The design is solid. the battery charges quickly and with more than enough power for several uses in between charging. Unlike any other pore vacuum I've seen this one has a couple of thoughtful pluses: 1. The filter housing has a retainer cap over it so the filter doesn't fall out and get lost every time you change attachment heads, and 2. An attachment head with a silicone cap which is gentler on the skin then plastic yet still allows for an airtight seal so the vacuum can work. Pore vacuums, as a skin care tool, are overrated and overused, which just makes it that more important that they work and can be used right when their use is appropriate. I find this product most useful to use several hours before any other facial treatment, where it's most important that the pores be free and completely open and unclogged, either to prevent worse clogging from something like microdermabrasion, or to allow for deeper an unobstructed penetration of substances or energy waves as in the case of serums used during microneedling, or radio frequency or HIFU treatments. In all other cases unless it's just for blackhead spot treatment, use of more than once a week is excessive. Most of the time when I use a pore vacuum I like to do it in the shower where the moisture, steam and warmth facilitate. I've used this in the shower successfully but very carefully as it is not waterproof. A minor point of improvement would be if this could be made completely waterproof, which I'd even be willing to pay a little more for. ... show more

  • It Sucks, But, Like, In A Good Way
It has a small learning curve, as all these little machines do. Whenever you're buying one of these, the function for them is essentially the same. Some come with a prettier casing or a cute little display, but you don't need extra things for it to do a good job. So save your money and just buy this if you're going to get one. Prior to using it: Steam your face for a good 5 minutes. Despite popular myths, hot/cold does not control how your pores react (entirely). Steam at least helps introduce water to your solidified oils, making them easier to suck out. Using it properly: The vacuum seal is to help suck out very loose gunk, but it's more for pulling a section of skin as taut as possible. Then the rims of the nozzles essentially act like fingers. So you want to do nice circular motions to attack your pores at all angles. Don't linger over a spot for too long or you'll get bruises. They go away fast, but still. Have a q-tip handy to clean out the nozzle every 6-10 seconds. Vs sebum: The white stuff that you can squeeze out of your pores like toothpaste. Whatever you see in the nozzle will most likely be this stuff. Sebum in itself isn't bad. But a lot can make pores seem bigger or several layers of "plugs" that may trap bacteria. Vs blackheads: This is much trickier, since blackheads are trickier in general. Extracting blackheads that are way deep down will take quite some time. Each session you help loosen it day by day. It takes hitting the blackhead with all angles. Don't be surprised if it takes you over a week to safely remove a stubborn blackhead. And don't be surprised if a REALLY stubborn blackhead never comes out without professional assistance. Vs whiteheads: The super gross obvious pimples. I get 1 or 2 every few days and removing them is a pain. When they're "ripe" this machine will make sure to suck out ALL the goop so none of it stays behind. It also seals up super quick, probably because the vacuum action draws blood closer to the surface. No more pin pricks, heated rags, and 2+ minutes of squishing needed to get rid of these gooey jerks anymore. So ironically, this isn't best used a blackhead remover (none of them are, really). It's best used as a whitehead destroyer and a blackhead prevention tool. Though considering how difficult blackheads are at removing, this does a decent job (although lengthy since you can't linger in a problem area for too long). Since it doesn't involve metal tools, sucks up all kinds of goop, and focuses on the entire face - I say it's one of the safer and cleaner way of removing a blackhead, but not the most efficient (professionals can scoop those badboys out within minutes, so they're technically the most efficient). Either way, 5 stars. Just don't expect it to suck out every single blackhead on your body right away, give it time. ... show more

  • Breaks quickly
I ordered this just over a month ago and used it 3 times before it no longer would hold a charge to the battery. It then worked one more time while plugged it. Now if I charge it for an hour or two it will stay on for maybe 1 second and then dies no matter if it stays plugged in or not. I had another one that lasted months and then died. So while it works, it works good , but just know they don't last long. ... show more
