Description
Since 1957, VOX Amplification has defined the sound of rock 'n' roll with its iconic amplifiers. From the legendary AC15 and AC30 to modern innovations like the Cambridge50 and Valvenergy pedals, VOX combines vintage charm with cutting-edge technology. Trusted by artists worldwide, VOX continues to inspire musicians with unparalleled tone and performance. Find your voice with VOX. amPlug3 is the third generation of the amPlug series, the headphone amplifiers that can simply be plugged into a guitar and used right away. With a variety of amp options and guitar tones available, Amplug offers an ideal solution for guitarists and bass players to practice with the best tone while keeping things simple. Perhaps the most iconic amplifier in VOX’s pedigree, the AC30 earned its place in history as the amplifier that powered the British Invasion. Since then, the AC30 has remained the choice of the world’s most accomplished artists who have come to rely on its unique voice to amplify theirs. Included in the AC30 Custom Head is VOX’s new Reactive Attenuator. This newly designed attenuator that uses VOX’s Reactor Technology optimizes the interaction of the speaker and amp at any volume. For those who crave more power, the AC30 expands on the captivating sound of its little brother by doubling the wattage. Employing a quartet of EL84 power tubes, the AC30 Custom pumps 30 watts of remarkable tone. Capable of both enchanting clean and raucous overdriven sounds, the signature chime of the AC30 Custom pairs seamlessly the intricacies of your playing style, resulting in a sound that is truly your own. The back panel of the VOX AC30 Head includes two speaker output jacks for connecting external cabinets, a footswitch jack for the VOX VFS2A footswitch to control tremolo and reverb, and FX send/return jacks for a true bypass effects loop. An impedance selector switch (8 or 16 ohms) ensures compatibility with various cabinets. The HT fuse provides circuit protection, ensuring reliability during performances. The top panel of the VOX 30-Watt 2x12" Head is equipped with various knobs and controls to shape your sound. For the Normal and Top Boost channels, there are individual Volume knobs. The Top Boost channel also features Treble and Bass controls for adjusting high and low frequencies. The Master section includes a Master Volume knob and a Tone Cut control, which fine-tunes the overall high-frequency response. Additionally, there are controls for Tremolo Speed and Depth, as well as the Reverb level, allowing you to customize these effects to your liking. The Input jacks for both channels are also located on the top panel, making it easy to connect your instrument.
