I bought the big box. There are some really awesome pieces in here with deep grooves and lines! Some chipped pieces from shipping but I expected some. They're useful for placing around the rocks for a more natural look. Definitely happy with this.

I bought a small box of them and put them in my tank a couple days ago and not only do the rocks look great, but my fish love them. Even just a few rocks create a lot of hiding spots for them. These rocks far surpassed the rocks I see outside. I was amazed at how rocks like these rocks rocked the rock world. The density and rigidity of these rocks was perfect for a rock layer in my terrarium. Even the water gets down to the level of these rocks and is like, "Whoa... these are some good rocks." And in turn, that happy water makes happy plants. I didn't expect the rocks to be such a natural, perfect slate gray, exactly as advertised. They precisely met the images provided. I will likely buy more rocks like these for other rock layers in terrariums as these rocks rock. Who knew that purchasing a piece of nature that occurs for free outside could be so satisfying and useful. Especially for someone like me who lives in Florida where rocks have to be imported. But you don't have to live in Florida to buy these rocks. Just buy them. They ship lots of places... probably... best rocks ever!! ... show more

Very nice sized pieces, I was apprehensive about buying rock this way and getting a box of rubble but there was no breakage and the pieces are attractive and sized perfectly for my aquarium. I definitely would reccomend.

4 pieces. 2 nice with calcium lines. Display quality. 2 chunks with no special colors. Heavy dense rock. I tried to break a piece with a double sided axe and it didn’t even chip just sent sparks. The rock is striking and will fit well in the aquarium. I just wish I had gotten the full amount. I weighed the package on two different scales. I only received 39lbs of stone.

Packaging wasn’t fancy but they are rocks and nothing was broken. There were none missing and the sizing was exactly as described. Very natural breaks and once rinsed off the coloring was just as in the images.
