For the price it's hard to argue against these. I bought them specifically because they are inexpensive and I needed a pair of boots to wear to work that if they get messed up it won't matter. Daily wear for a few weeks and I have to say, these are great. They don't look cheap, they don't feel cheap, and they're comfy. Can't speak for how long they'll last yet but so far no sign of wear. Update 2/5/2020: they've reached the end of their life span. I'm lowering my rating because 4 months for a pair of shoes is very short, even at this low of a price. The soles are starting to rip at the balls of the feet and it feels like I'm walking directly on concrete. If your in a pinch, maybe these can still be good but spend another $20-30 and you'll get something of much better quality that'll last far far longer. ... show more

So aside from me not noticing they are zip on, they are possibly the worst shoes I have ever purchased. I have a lot of shoes, didn't notice how many shoes I had until recently. They are super light weight, but not in a good way. More in the sense that they bought their material from Wish and then used a toy to stitch it all together. I wore them for about a month, hoping they just had a break-in period, only to find they have a 1 month break-ing period. The stitching at the top started to come undone. the bases of the shoe kinda turned into a mashed up sponge. The insoles... I think they're like a cardboard composite, so after day 1, it was like walking around without insoles. If you hate your feet and want lasting pain in your future, I guess you could get these and attempt a hike in them. I would recommend hardening your feet first and then go hiking, or anywhere you would wear these, barefoot. ... show more

They were just as described. They look exactly like the picture. They are very comfortable. I wear a 6 and half so I ordered a 7. They fit a little big. So order your size. Do not size up. I love them!

I bought these strictly for motorcycle riding, being that they cover the ankle. The very first thing I did after trying them on was go buy some new inserts for better arch support. I only wear these for riding and the initial drive was for having them for my riding class. The side zipper is ok, but doesn't really lend it lself to slipping back on easily without re-tying the laces. At least not yet with them not being fully worn in. The laces take some manual effort getting the right tightness for each step up. Overall, not bad for the price. ... show more

    • Time Will Tell...But Great for Now!
Hey, great boot for the money! I won't wear these riding my motorcycle or while I'm building a fence. But for comfortable, casual knockarounds, these are great. I put some waterproofing on them right away. Sure enough, 1st day wearing them, I was doused with spilled water. I'm not sure my waterproofing made a big difference, but they look unscathed for the wear. So, these look good and feel good, and....didn't break the bank. Not the highest quality, or the most comfortable (Do Not use them as work shoes or walking shoes). I had to return the first pair because they started to fall apart after only a few weeks of heavy use. But for the occasional wear when you need black, nice looking shoes that dont make you look like a teenager, these are pretty good. The price was so low and style so understated and casual that i’ll keep these in my rotation and buy another pair when they die. ... show more

Update: I've now had these shows for a month and a half and they are already falling apart. I will not buy this brand again. I've been an Adidas shoe fanatic for years. They are very comfy shoes. So, please keep that in mind before reading this review. I purchased these boots because I wanted a change in what I was wearing on a daily basis. I found these and they looked cool. Reading the reviews it all sounded wonderful. When I first got them I was surprised at the quality. From afar they look phenomenal. As you look closer you can see where they cut corners. Additionally, my right heel hasn't been the same since I've gotten them. There is an issue with the heel on my right boot which makes it very uncomfortable to drive in. Also, the red stitching is already breaking as shown in the picture above. I got these boots about a month ago and they already seem to be falling apart. The left boot has this weird issue in the sole. It feels like a manufacturing defect, it presses up on my foot when I'm standing on it. The right boot doesn't do that. Overall the quality is inconsistent. They are cool looking, but tough to wear. Additionally, if anyone looked close enough you can tell the wear pattern was just reversed on each boot so the "style" of wear and tear is exactly the same only reversed. I bought the Grey boot, it arrived today. I'm totally impressed by what I received. The boots look, feel, and fit perfect. I've never had a pair as comfortable as these. They are made like, and look like a $200 pair of boots. The zipper opening makes them very easy to put on, and take off. These are top quality, no shortcuts. I see nothing to critique. They came individually wrapped in shoe bags, and with a nice card from the manufacturer. This is definitely one of those "I'm glad I snapped these suckered up" moments. ... show more
