These boots are sized right on target. They also are comfortable enough that i can wear them all day at work in the hospital & clinics! Prior to my purchase, I read one review that noted the ankle fit was too loose. Frankly, i appreciate that the boots have a loosened fit at the ankle. For me & depending on my outfit, the ankle does not look or feel bad. It does not detract from the boots or outfit. The boots feel stable and equal on both sides. I like this style and for so much that I have orchard every color variation over the last couple years. Each pair have been durable, comfortable, and quality.

I’ve absolutely fallen in love with these boots, and I can’t recommend them enough! First of all, let’s talk style. These boots are a fashion statement on their own! Whether I’m pairing them with skirts or pants, they instantly elevate my outfit and give off that bold, edgy vibe. They’re sexy without being over the top, and the chunky heel adds just the right amount of height to make you feel special and confident. Plus, I’m always getting compliments whenever I wear them—people notice how stunning they are! But it’s not just about the looks—these boots are incredibly comfortable too. I’ve worn them for long walks, and even done a little running in them (yes, really!), and they still feel great. The media could not be loaded. Update 11/25/23 Since ordering these I have worn these ALL day (& NIGHT into the next day *with no blisters or issues whatsoever!) to 5 concerts to see my favorite Indie Rock Band "The Rose" (that recently TOURED here in the USA in Lollapalooza & started their "Dusk to Dawn" World Tour right after their new album released recently. These were no short trips and involved over 24 hour turnaround roundtrip air flights to LA, Vegas, NYC, Columbus Ohio & Atlanta Georgia, as I would leave home about 3:30 AM to make the 1 1/2 hour trip to catch my flights out of the closest airport and get to venue city early in the Am, walk all over sight seeing and eating, meeting up with fellow fans (aka "Black Roses") watch the concert, grab another bite to eat, head back to airport and hang out till 5-6 AM flights left for home, then drove back so literally had these shoes on my feet for OVER 24 hours each time and NO issues, never broke them or wore them other than in this review and the next time was when I was on my way to the 1st concert, then next one etc...! So besides the bonus of these raising my 5'4" height so that I could better see my favorite band over the crowd these were VERY comfortable and I had no issues at anytime, even when I had to run to make a flight!! It is now Black Friday and I am ordering a second pair just in case they stop selling this style as I absolutely am in LOVE with every aspect of them!! THEY ARE DURABLE AS WELL AS COMFY AND LOOK GREAT!! IMO ;-) I ordered (Prime sale day!) 8 pairs of black boots and only planned on keeping one...or 2 max as I really have too many now BUT I had already come 2 of them that arrived earlier but....I didn't have any in this style and most my boots are Frye or Dingo etc ... (real leather and way $$$) but I figured that I would try to save some money and as I only would be wearing them occasionally they didn't have to be leather to hold up for years of a lot of wear.... *BTW I am not rough on my shoes and take care of them, but anyways when these arrived not only were they VERY comfortable but looked fantastic and at such a great price I just could not say no so now the count is up to 3 pairs!! Even if you are not used to higher platform shoes these ones seem like a normal boot when you have them on it is crazy!! I feel I could run city blocks with these with no problemO!! (Or shop ALLLLL day long! ) or wear them to see the Korean Band "The Rose" at the Lollapalooza concert in Chicago in a couple of weeks, yeah baby!! ;-) I can't wait BTW....These boots are not part of ANY promotion nor part of the Amazon Vine program's reviews. I am writing this to let you know that IF this is a style you like, GET them!! They feel great on, NO breaking in period, I am not kidding! BUT at first I thought they were about 1/2 size too big (I ordered my normal size) and I had thin, no show socks on from wearing sneakers, After tightening up the laces I decided that I would keep them and not exchange for a 1/2 size smaller as the only part that was "roomy" after tightening the laces was the toes and I mean who doesn't LOVE unpinched toes!! So there is room for some nice warm socks when the weather cools down which will be great as my feet are ALWAYS cold in the winter! I also love that they don't look inexpensive or fake, I think they are a fantastic buy and HIGHLY recommend them! You are welcome! :-)
