These boots have great traction, hold up well, and are extremely comfortable. I have several different brands of boots that I can wear, but I typically find myself going for these most of the time. The quality is very good and I’ve had no problems with the leather or the construction of the boot. I put them through quite a bit so they look a little ragged and they don’t shine up well but that’s what you use boots like this for. ... show more

The durability style and quality the airat always has the fit is a little snug but as with any quality leather boot, they’re gonna be slightly stiff and a little bit tight to start with get some mink oil and a boot stretcher and work with it. It will take some time to break in, but my other pair has lasted three years. You will put them on and think I know these are entirely too small but you can’t get these broken in. You get good traction on a slip resistant boot, and the leather is nice and thick where it matters and they’re stylish. Lol ... show more

My husband asked me to find him a pair of boots so I hopped on Amazon and filtered out things that he was looking for by asking him about his preferences, there weren’t much options that popped up after and most of them were ridiculous designs, this one was nice, I sent him a picture and he definitely wanted them. We ordered them and they got here within a day or so (prime). They’re good quality boots, easy to put on, very comfortable. The wide vs normal I think were the width options, I read reviews that these tend to run large, and my husband doesn’t have wide feet so we went with normal or whatever the not wide option was. They were still pretty roomy but he needed to get more boot socks and that helped a lot, I recommended he get inserts for them and he seemed to think that was a good idea, not sure if he ever did though. My husband wears size 10 in regular shoes, I think we were between getting size 11 or 10.5 (because the difference for boot sizes) I believe we went with 10.5 because of the reviews about them running large, I believe my husband said he could have gone half a size or a size down but when I asked if he wanted to return them for a different size he said no way lol. He loves them and they seem very durable, and good quality. Just make sure you pay attention to the size and maybe get thick boot socks/inserts if need be. Worked for us. ... show more

Great fit, still can't review the comfort or durability as I'm in the break in period. I will say they scuff but I don't care about that too much. But even now, it feels good. Knees didn't hurt at the end of the day, after walking on concrete for 8 hours, and it's easy to take on/off, but it holds my foot in place perfectly. Slip resistance is amazing, working on oily/wet floors all day as a mechanic. I wouldn't recommend getting a wide size unless you've tried it in person. I thought I was a 10W but it actually slightly slipped on me when I tried it at my local boot barn. Got a 10 regular online, since they only had a 10W in person, and it fits perfectly. ... show more

I’m on my second pair of these, having just replaced my first pair after about 1.5 years of daily use on construction sites. Insole replaced after about six months originally with the ariat insoles, they lasted about another year along with the boots. Very stiff out of the box, recommend using mink oil or something similar to loosen up the leather and add water resistance. These are not waterproof, you have to grease them periodically. Leather is pretty durable, holds up well to scratches from rocks, wood, nails, concrete, etc on job sites. Not super well insulated so I would recommend think socks in the winter time for warmth. Arch and heel support is very good, even better if you swap the insoles out for the better ones. 10/10, will probably buy a third time in another year or two when I need another pair. ... show more

    • My first pair of Ariat Boots were a disappointment!

At first the boot was nice, a little clunky out of the box but pretty decent for the most part. They were comfortable for working on my feet all day….BUT THEN, in 6 months time, not one but BOTH soles came off of boots 2 days apart from one another. For what I paid for these I think its absurd how quickly they fell apart. So sadly they have been just a tasteless decor piece on my shoe rack….really more of a reminder when you need to go boot shopping, of why to steer clear of Ariat boots. If they had zero stars i would have def. chosen that option…so lucky them…1 ⭐️!!! ... show more

I have been wearing western style boots since I was 14 years old I’m 74 now. Justin boots Moonwalker hand made boots Nocuna boots. First thing for long life on any shoe or boot make sure feet are sized right. I was walking out of my boots in year because they weren’t sized right. My first pair of sized right boots were Nocuna boots this was because he took the time to size my feet they lasted 4 years resoled 2 times (leather soles don’t wear as long) I now wear Ariat boots my first pair Ariat Roper style in Jan 2015 I replaced them with same boot in May 2019. Then in April 2022 I purchased Ariat men’s Groundbreaker Wide Square Toe Work Boots I have to say these are the most comfortable boots for all day wear I have ever worn bar none. I should say when I had the Moonwalker Boots made on a 8.5 EE boot jack so I only ordered boots in that size. They aren’t hardly any shoe repair shops now my Moonwalker Boots were resoled 4 time made right with perfect fit quality leather something you hardly see anymore. ... show more
