I have this case and it is good for standing up the kindle if needing hands free like when walking on the treadmill Otherwise it is too thick and feels like you are reading a paperback. I’ve used it for a year. It shows some wear and splitting in the corners but I use it many times a day and carry it in my purse. I love both the elastic handle and easel on the back. It makes using the kindle in all situations very convenient. I think it has held up well and worth the cost.
