  • Cute little shed
Color: Gray Size: 5 x 2.5 FT
Love this little building. Use for my recycling containers under our deck. Sharp looking even has a side window. But it was definitely a pain to put together! Took 2 of us about 1 1/2 hours. Alot of little screws. Couple of holes didn't line up but we made it fit. Price was great to. No complaints here ... show more

  • Love my little garden shed
Color: Gray Size: 5 x 2.5 FT
It definitely takes 2 people two build. Instructions we're hard and if you watch the instructions video that also helps. The edges can be sharp so gloves are recommended. We didn't have any problems with this shed. It's perfect for putting our garden tools in it. Would recommend.

  • Low cost and some what quick outdoor shed. Read on for construction tips.
Color: Gray Size: 5 x 2.5 FT
The listed base dimensions were correct, and there are going to be some dents and bends but all the panels and holes lined up. I screwed the base rails down to my pressure treated plywood and 2x base with some Simpson tie screws. Going thru the assembly manual you'll find parts that can be pre-assembled prior to putting the building together. This is a good start of the building process and less time spent on the building day. The eight piece base becomes four, the eight piece roof beams becomes three, and the two doors start with 18 pieces. There are a couple other things to put together but they are minor. The plastic washers come in moulded sheets and have to be cut out. Cut them out and pre-install them on a couple hundred screws. These nibs left on the washers and the metal panels can cut you very easily. The kit came with two pairs of gloves. It was so hot out I didn't wear them so I had sweat everywhere and some blood. It is very easy to strip the screw holes out, if you use a power tool to drive screws, just use it to start the screws and finish tightening them by hand, even on the lowest torque setting of a screw gun the screws stripped out. Tight is the screw making contact and then maybe and 1/8 turn. If you strip the screw hole, you can remove the screw and hammer the hole closed enough with a hammer and a metal backer on the other side. The ends of the roof panels and the tops of the side walls get screwed into an aluminum slot, here I was able to use the screw gun on a number three setting. Some of the pictures in the manual don't clearly show the orientation of the part. This was mainly the upper front and rear wall bars that get put together with plastic pieces. So you have to look at the holes in the bars and think where the wall panels and roof panels go. This is where the manufacturer could improve the manual and also these parts. There are no screws holding these 18 pieces together so they can come apart on you before the sides and/or roof keeps these together, plus they are wobbly as it's not a tight fit. The building is very flimsy until it is all together so I used some ladders to stabilize the front and back of the shed so a gust of wind wouldn't bend the panels. I put the roof panels on from a ladder inside the building, you can do both sides at the same time, until the last two on each side, where upon I worked from the rear outside. Assembly time for me alone was 6+ hours. I don't recall the pre-assembly time, probably 2-4 hours. But it was nice to get to the door portion of the manual and all you do is install them instead of assemble them. I remember decades ago putting one of these buildings together with a few 'helpers'. They were grabbing panels and installing them in the wrong place, so as the manual states, lay out the parts and get familiar with the parts and assembly. ... show more

Confusing directions. To much to assemble. Holes do not line up. Misleading size. Flimsy metal.

  • Buy it because of cost.
Color: Gray Size: 5 x 2.5 FT
First of, it's not 3x5. It's 59x30, or nearly 5x2.5ft. Second, it's cheap. Assembly is a pain. Lots of the holes don't quite line up so you have to fight it. Biggest problems were the roof and the doors. Patience and a garage full of tools will help. Additional tools I found helpful: stubby screwdriver, ratchet screwdriver, linesman pliers to straighten the sheet metal, a 3' clamp to squeeze the parts into the plastic pieces and a rubber mallet. Nothing major but they list a drill and their garbage little screwdriver as told you'll need. The screws strip easily. Use your drill to stay out and hand tighten. Don't over do it. Also but a pack of thicker 5/8 sheet metal screws for when you do step the hole. The worst part: the doors suck. They are attached to small, PLASTIC wheels. The screws on the outside and top of the track will block the path, so be prepared to loosen them when you put the doors in. The doors don't slide at all. You will have to fight them every time you open and close it. Or buy metal bearings and through l throw the crappy plastic ones away. Not terrible, but not great. And just with everything else you assemble, the instructions are clear as mud. Anyone who manufacturers something for assembly should buy something from IKEA and do their instructions that way. These are hard to tell where to put your screws in some places, as your going to put other parts together in future steps. Be prepared to assemble, disassemble and reassemble. Patience, extra tools, intelligence and beer will help tremendously. ... show more

  • Worth every penny.
Color: Gray Size: 5 x 2.5 FT
Took me a day to assemble because I was distracted with other things. Did it solo. A bit of a pain because of the number of screws required to put it together, but easy otherwise. Highly recommend using a drill to speed up the process. Besides that, it's good quality for the money. I laid down some pavers for a floor and drilled the floor frame into them. Solid storage option at a great price. ... show more

  • Dont have high expectations Dont have high expectations
Color: Gray Size: 5 x 2.5 FT
I ordered this shed because they said it was 5'x3'x6' in the heading description. I guess I should have read the fine print. The height might be 6 ft exactly at the outside peak of the roof, maybe. I'm 5' 3" and have to duck to go in. The corners are only 5 ft tall. The metal is super thin. I wouldn't put this anywhere you get hail because it would look like a golf ball by the end of a storm. We accidently stepped on a piece and it got really bent up. I was able to hammer it out fairly flat with a rubber mallot, but it looks creased. My daughter's fake nails seem sturdier. The instructions are terrible. It took us over 6 hours to put it together, and that was with using a power screw driver. I'm sure we would still be working on it had we used a hand screw driver. My grandson's in a vocational high school program where she is learning building trades and he was frustrated with the instructions. The door rollers need t be put on the rail BEFORE you proceed with putting it all together. The instructions are shown in a way that you don't realize until a later step that you weren't supposed to put some of the screws in yet. We had to keep removing screws. The little black safety caps don't fit on one of the screw types, so be careful. Not all of the holes lined up. Glad we had the tools to make new holes to make it work. The washers are cheap plastic. Im sure they won't hold up for more than 2 summers. Hopefully by then, ill have a nice wood shed. On a positive note, they give you a ton of extra screws and free utility gloves and screw driver. ... show more

Color: Gray Size: 5 x 2.5 FT
Instructins are mostly just pictures that don't really tell you everything you need to know. Some of it you just have to figure out as you go along. On the plus side; All the pieces and hardware were there and once completed is very nice and sturdy. There is no way to securely lock the doors unless you rig something yourself. ... show more
