  • Flies Great! Would definitely buy it again.
Style: Spitfire Fighter
This little guy is fantastic. The quality of the finish was impressive. The crashability of the EPP foam and the break away prop are amazing. I am thoroughly impressed. I never bound it to the included receiver because I heard it wasn't so great. I bound it to my Radiomaster TX16S and to my Radiomaster Zorro, and both are great. Binding is easy to do using v761 protocol chn 4. I take off in stabilized mode and then immediately change to expert mode where stabilization is turned off. Even in winds up to 10mph (I haven't flown her in heavier winds yet, but I think she'd do fine), she is super stable even in expert mode. I haven't used beginner mode much because the inputs are so sluggish and she needs a LOT more space to fly. The stabilized mode is decent, but I just use it for take off to help. You can take off in expert mode, but sometimes, it can be a slight handful, but not impossible to manage. I noticed a tendency to climb dramatically with power off and dive with power on. This made slowing down for landings a little tricky because she'd pitch up with lower power and then stall and then crash. But crashes are very easily handled by this bird. The EPP foam is super-forgiving and the breakaway prop saves the prop and motor and shaft. I had to add a custom throttle-to-elevator curve to tamp down this tendency. She is a blast to fly. In fact, I ordered the Me-109 and FW-190 and Zero to keep her company. I've heard the duration/life-span of the coreless motor can be quite variable. So far, each flight is at least 10min. I found more batts on aliexpress for cheap. If you have a transmitter with MPM (multiprotocol module), I'd recommend saving some money and just buying the PNP version that includes just the plane. Coreless replacement motors can be found for about $2 each on aliexpress as well. I don't know how much surgery will be needed to replace the coreless motor though. Overall: 2 thumbs up!! ... show more

  • Good Small RC Plane For Park Flying
Style: BF109
I have been flying for about three years now and have moved on to 80mm EDF, but still like zooming around our local park with these small planes. I bought this one for my 8 year old son who likes WWII history and wanted to try flying. In "Beginner" mode he's able to keep it in the air without much trouble. Be warned though, if this is a first RC plane, it will crash. But repairing planes is part of the hobby. There are better first planes such as the Hobby Zone Sport Cub S2, which can fly slower and much more forgiving to inexperienced thumbs. ... show more

  • Great planes, not fragile. Hard to fly at first.
Style: Spitfire Fighter
Bought two for a family gathering over memorial day. Lots of fun. Kids (6-8) were not able to fly them well but adults loved them. Even in a small wind they are hard to fly. We crashed one about 20 times before it actually broke and the other got taken far far away in a wind gust. User error on both accounts - good buy if you're more responsible than me. ... show more

  • Don't BUY! Beware! Overpriced extremely LOW quality product!
Style: BF109
Don't BUY! Beware! Overpriced AND extremely LOW quality product! Mine didn't even work! It was broken from the start! I have been into R/C Cars and Planes since 1980s... Built many of my own Balsa Gliders.... I bought this for my nephew.... I put it together as directed ...Started it up and immediately started to turn and hit the wall... The Ailerons on this plane are cheaply made and designed.... They get stuck and have lots of foam debris on it which interfere with flight and function... With many modifications I think I could of actually flown this thing...but for almost $150 I was expecting more!! This should be priced at $20 in a discount store!! Just a bad product and overpriced! Don't get it! ...They didn't give me a Refund yet! Still waiting! I will update this review when that happens! ... show more

  • Very fast airplane
I was initially disappointed with the flight performance of the p-39. The ailerons were too sensitive and it had a nasty tip stall problem. The first time I tried a loop, it snap rolled near the top and went into a spin. It was not fun to fly. I lowered the ailerons a few degrees which helped a little but didn't eliminate the tip stall problem. The p-39 is hard to fly and will spin out when initiating a steep turn unless you fly at full throttle all the time. It does has plenty of power, enough for vertical eights and aileron rolls are fast and axial. However, it's real forte is racing. The airplane tracks really well and is very fast. As long as you fly at full throttle and don't pull too much elevator it is fun to fly. Landing is easy as long as you don't bank it too much on approach and don't add up elevator until the airplane is about to touch down. I really like the removable wing for servicing the radio and it even has an engine hatch. It's an airplane meant for the long haul because it's maintainable and durable. You just can't beat the toughness of epp foam. The propellors that came with it both wobble a little so I put on a 4 blade Leambe propellor which runs smoothly, resulting in almost no vibration. If you are a beginner, do not turn off the autopilot until you have plenty of experience. The p-39 is not a trainer! ... show more

  • Great little plane.
Style: BF109
I bought 2 of these planes for my two sons and they work great. They are nimble and resilient. Crashed them many times and they are holding up pretty good. The only issue that has come up is they paired to each other a few times and there’s no way to change the frequency channel unless we disconnect the battery and re-pair one of the planes. Overall very happy and would definitely re purchase. ... show more

  • Not as described
After 3 minor crashes on grass the propeller would not snap back on. The motor was tilted up and recessed in the nose area. The videos for this product shows crashes 10 X’s worse.
