Have been flying RC planes for over 50 years now. Bought this to try and teach my grand niece. Took it out for a test flight first and it almost flys itself! Had her flying it in 2 days (she has flown a flight sim a little). The advances in this hobby are amazing. You still have to approach flying this with a serious attitude and commitment, but it really does take away a lot of the scary first learning steps. Might buy one for myself now! It's just fun to fly and all 3 modes can make it challenging too. 🙂
