My boys love to boogie board and swim, but the cold water of the pacific can be chilly. These wetsuits don’t break the bank, and give some warmth. I sized up so they can grow into them and it worked just fine. I hate to spend hundreds of dollars in something they won’t be able to use for that long. The only complaint was that the seams irritated their necks, but they can loosen the zipper here or wear a rash gaurd. ... show more

boy is in swimming "heated" outdoor pool but was freezing too much. with the wetsuit he feels much better. it is hard finding a good fit for children though... we tried many. settled for this size 3! for a super short and skinny 4 year old. good fit ! (he is 32 inches .... and less than 40 lb..) the material does not seem super durable....but so far so good after 7 classes + pool play time. will see at the beach in the pacific ;) ... show more

Reviewing for moms who have skinny kiddos. It’s great. Keeps my son warm during swim camp. I ordered it for my would be 8 year old. I ordered a 6 because he’s a super skinny guy but average height. He now wears 7/8 in clothing but still has lots of room. He still fits some of his 6 clothing. I went for a size 6 because I was afraid if will be too loose and water will get in but didn’t account for the length part of it. It fits his body but sleeves and bottom are short. length in the torso area is definitely short. It is not comfortable in the crotch area. But he said once in the water he doesn’t feel it anymore. Probably will only be good this summer. My child is 4’2 I’m height and weighs 50 lbs for reference ... show more
