I bought 2 of these chairs for my sun-room - the appeal was the small size and the "leather" covering. It's a small room and I needed something easy to clean- I have a dog. So, that being said, these chairs serve their purpose. They are the perfect size for me - 5'5", average build. The seats are firm, but I prefer that. They were very easy to put together. Anyone can do this - just screw in the 4 feet, and slide the back over the seat brackets. No tools, No sweat. My only complaints - 1 chair arrived with a grease like stain on the back. It did not come off with soap and water, or an alcohol wipe. The same chair had a small scrape on one of the arms - almost looks like a cut that has not quite opened up. Makes me think maybe this one was returned? The same chair also has a tendency to not stay in the recline position as well as the other. None of this is worth the hassle of returning for me, so I reduced my review by 1 star. ... show more

I got this for my wife, in the bedroom, as with her back problem she often moves from bed, to recliner (2 in the living room), to a recliner in the bedroom. This chair was to replace one we've had in the bedroom that is a manual lever recliner - hard to use. She fits the chair well (5'3"), but the nearly flat full position didn't help her back - so this chair will be passed on to another family member. We really wanted it to work (it actually felt good to me, though my feet and head hang off it - I'm 5'10"), but unfortunately for her back problem, laying flat didn't work. For others (like myself - felt good to me), it certainly can work. But the quality of the chair, and the massage aspect (though limited to small back), and ease in pushing back to recline, is "very good". Would recommend it for those under 5'6". Back problems make finding THE best chair a challenge, we've found. ... show more

Small size is what I needed for small apartment and my size of 5’1 in . 130 lbs . So definitely good for a person of my size my feet do not hang over the edge of the foot rest and my head does not hang over the top of the head rest perfect fit . Easy to assemble, sturdy. Firm seat , sitting on top not down into seat which would be a little more comfortable but does have good back support . . Black leather look compliments my black leather loveseat . Only dislike is reclining mechanism makes a loud noise when raising back to sitting position. I will have my son check that out . ... show more

Easy to assemble. Hardest part was getting it out of the box. I bought this for my husband who was in the hospital. He needs something more comfortable than the couch to sit on. It's a little on the narrow side, great for our apartment. If you are someone who likes extra space in your chair I would look at a different one. This chair does not take up a lot of space and seems to be holding up well at my house. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that there is not as much room to rest your arms on it. I just put a little pillow under my arm say if I want to take a little cat nap and problem solved. Otherwise it's a very nice chair for a good price. Looks very nice as well. OMG I LOVE this purchase!!! My recliner came perfectly packaged in a square (i.e. not odd shaped) box that wasn't too crazy heavy. The chair was super easy to assemble: snap on the back and screw in the feet - no tools required. I LOVE the slim size of it - it's true to the listed measurements and fits perfectly in the tight spot it was purchased for. I feel like I got a great bargain for the comfy recliner I received. When I bought it, I was worried about the foot rest in the reclined position, but it's just fine (I'm 5'6") and fully supports my legs perfectly. The most difficult (and time consuming) thing about assembling this chair is unpacking it from the box. Dead simple to assemble - you can do it yourself in less than 10 minutes. It comes with an instruction sheet, but you don't really need it. Screw on the feet, flip it right side up, snap the back in place and sit down and recline. Couldn't be simpler! The shipping box is a bit bulky and heavy, but do what I did. Just unpack it right where the delivery driver left it and carry the 2 pieces into the house (3 pieces if you count the small box holding the feet). Be careful when you cut the box open and cut the packing tape shallow so you don't risk slicing your new upholstery. ... show more

I dig it. It’s nicer than it looks and insanely simple to put together but not flimsy at all. Comfortable. I fell asleep in it. Great gaming chair but also a nice smaller size modern looking recliner. Great addition to my small space and my minimalist ideas especially for the price. Shipping was as expected. A year later - my dogs jump up and down on it, my puppy tried to get a toy underneath it for about 3 mins before I realized she was digging with her nails at it… it’s still in amazing shape. At first I really liked it. I have a small bedroom and it was a perfect size. It's cheaply made but I didn't expect a high end chair for under $100. The problem I have with it, is that the "faux" leather is SO squeaky every time you move in it. I thought I could overlook it, but it just drives me crazy. I was torn between this one and one just like it but in fabric. I have regretted not getting the one in fabric so I bit the bullet and bought another one and it was a few dollars more but so much nicer. Thicker padding and better back support. Very nice for the price. My mom is 4'9" about 150, and I'm 5'6 and closer to 180, and it's comfy for either of us, but maybe not for a person a lot larger than I am. It's a smaller chair for sure but works in the small corner we had for it. Actually bought this because we're in a rented house 2000 miles from home for a couple months and we planned to leave it or throw it out when we return to Florida, but it's easy to assemble with no tools (took five minutes) so we'll take it apart to pack and take home. One person can put this together. Literally only 2 steps. Bottom comes assembled. I let my 9yr old son help so he could feel big. Looks like the picture and actually comfortable. Small for an apt. Only for one person. Sides have no handle which was fine for me. Still works great. Shipped fairly normal, during this covid mess. The only thing I don't like is that laying back in it you can feel the piece of wood in your lower back a lot of recliners do this. I do kind of wish it was one that didn't but it is fairly comfortable definitely better than what I had.
