The media could not be loaded. You wouldn't expect a hundred dollar smartphone or laptop to be zippy so you shouldn't expect the same of this older refurbished TV. I turned off the wifi after installing the firmware anyways. It is sluggish even after the update, so keep that in mind. My use case is to hook this up with a Jackery power station alongside a Nintendo Switch to play with strangers at public parks. It gets 4 stars for fulfilling my needs. If I didn't need an internal speaker, I'd probably go with an HDMI 1080p computer monitor instead. The audio is gross. Very tinny. Spend $100 on these great computer speakers and plug 'em into the headphone jack. I've used them for 2 years. - Presonus Eris E3.5-3.5" Near Field Studio Monitor (Pair) (E3.5) The peak power draw while updating was about 33w / watts. If you want to connect an DAC, this is just a monitor; but an amp can be used via the headphone jack or RCA. The picture quality is great, as written it's 1920x1080p. The audio is typical of built in, tiny tinny speakers, high pitched and painful to turn up. The app selection lacks Amazon Music, and a web browser, but most monitors cost this much anyway... ... show more

    • This TV lasted less than 3 years!
I won't buy a refurbished one again as this one started going bad with horizontal lines across the screen after about only two years after I bought it. Finally, recently the bottom half of the screen turned pink with vertical bars of various colors on and off, and then it was impossible to watch the TV or use my DVR. This is a decently priced TV with a good picture and one of the few I could find that is 24". Which is the only size I need for a certain spot. So...I bought a new Vizio 24" last week and I also bought a warranty for 3 years. I do have a habit of leaving my TV on all night so that could maybe cut the lifetime of the TV. From now on I am going to use the sleep timer. Also, it is a breeze to set up and is easy to use. ... show more

    • This is a good affordable TV if you don't want something gigantic
I had the previous generation of this TV and really liked it. When I moved, I guess I didn't pack it well enough because it got knocked around and the bezel got cracked and then Hulu wasn't always loading. So I was looking for the same one and found this updated version instead. It's a good price, there are a lot of apps built-in which is really nice, and best of all if you're a Mac user, it works with Airplay. I also didn't want something huge and this is a nice picture quality for its screen size and a slim profile, so it takes up a very small footprint. ... show more

The time between clicking a button on the remote and the TV’s response is painfully sloooooow. I don’t recommend this TV for a room you use often. It’s way too frustrating.

This TV is just okay. I took a gamble with this refurbished product and I am disappointed. It "loses power" often and increasingly. It just shuts itself off and won't come back on. I unplug, replug three, four, or five times before it will come back on. The picture is good enough and the sound is okay. The button response is sluggish at best. Annoying and nonresponsive at worst ... show more
