I bought these solely based on a YouTube comparison video that found these were the best bang for your buck when tested against similar products by multiple popular brands of LED grow lights - using the same crops, and in the same conditions (sorry, I forgot the user's YouTube handle). I haven't regretted it and was so happy I recently got two more. I like that I can dial up or down the output, though I have mixed feelings about it being selectable only in 25% increments - especially since I use it quite a bit closer than is recommended (maybe 6-7 inches or so), to conserve space. But I've found most of my plants only get stressed at the rather intense 100% setting. They do produce some heat so keep that in mind if you use warming mats for germination (I do not).

im only mad cuz i think mine was sent to me used.... cuz it had holes in the 2 boxes on the side.... and it didnt come with the glasses which i know they come with.... buuut outside of that with only 3hrs of having that light on my babies love it!!! so shoutout to vivosun! tent coming tomorrow!!!!

Settled on this light after browsing several small quantum boards. Will be using one for the vivosun triangle tent, odd-shaped but =2x2 in terms of square footage. Could probably get away with one in a 3x3 or 2x4 tent for vegging only, although that'd be pushing it. Can't really beat it though -- very solid hangers and build quality. Silent, dimmable driver (3 settings, the 50% is dim enough that I can keep the window on my tent open and not be blinded hanging out near it. Legit (one assumes) Samsung LM301 diodes, a decent warranty... Really nice entry to the quantum board market by Vivosun. I hope keep aiming for high build quality and good design like this, it really shows that they made an effort here vs many other overseas brands. Only gripes if I had any are A) I'm not sure on the diode count, these may be running more current through each chip than some other QB's, which could shorten lifespan vs brands with more chips per watt. But I don't know how many they use so maybe it's pretty standard. And B) The provided sunglasses are green, which are great for blurple LEDs (they counteract the color so your plants look like they're under white light)... but for full-spectrum LED lights like this, local grow gurus tell me you ought to use blue-tint glasses like people use for MH/CMH, because the spectrum is actually way closer to those. Regardless of those little points though, great lights and maybe a new high mark for Vivosun. Don't wait when they restock.

Cool lights. I like how they can all run off of one setting when linked. They do not daisy chain the power supply so make sure you have enough open sockets for them. I paired them with the vivosun digital timers, works great.

I looked all over for different lights. I wanted the best one.after hours of research. I found VIVOSUN grow lights. First off let’s start with how great the shipping/packaging was ! 10/10. The quality of the light is 10/10 also. Feels and looks way more than I paid for it ! The lights are very strong and worth every penny. , and the color of them are amazing ! This light is perfect fit for a 2x2x4 grow tent ! Last but not least. The adjustability is amazing due to the pulley system that comes with the light. Easy to set up and use. Over all get this light. The media could not be loaded. Since cannabis home grows have become legal, I have considered doing my first ever grow and Vivosun has made it possible. I was gifted a 4x4 foot tent by a friend who didn't measure his basement height before buying it. Upon completion of my research into the subject, I found the vivosun brand to be the best option for quality and value. I ordered one light as you can see in the photo and quickly realized that I would need a second. This worked out well as I had two tall and two shorter plants that responded well to the varied height lights. I am about 11 weeks into my grow, have just shifted to 12hr light and my plants look fantastic! Both boxes included all the hardware, as some people have indicated can be an issue. The tent my friend gifted me was missing the reflective flaps. I have made my own to replace the missing parts of the tent. I recommend this light for smaller 2x2 and 2x4 tents, but double up if you have a larger 4x4 tent. These lights are amazing!

I keep a couple of cactus alive over the winter on a bookshelf with a grow light. Over three or four years I’ve tried several, but this is the first one that I really like, for several reasons: 1. Solid construction. This thing is built like a tank. 2. I can mount it to the bottom of a shelf with a couple of binder clips, zip ties, and a broom handle through the included bails. 3. The included (detachable) cord comes out of the unit in such a way that I can route power without an unsightly loop of cord 4. The side switch and adjustable intensity are easy to find and operate blind. 5. I can buy more of these & Daisy chain them together, and control all of them from a knob on one unit. If the knob wears out in the future, I can switch units around and make a different one the master. 6. It’s the right size for Lundia shelving and it looks good enough to use in the living area of my house. I’m planning to buy a two-pack of these & get some herbs going.
