I got this pump to use in my pond to help clear the water of floating algae particles. Had the power to move the water like I wanted and had plenty of lift, but the power cord wasn"t even 6 feet long for my application I nee at least ten feet. Great pump just couldn"t use it.

I use this for an indoor circular koi pool/pond of 250 gallons with a dozen 12" koi. The pump is used to drive a DIY filter made from an 18 gallon tote. I positioned the pump at the center of the pond. It is completely silent, and more than powerful enough to give me excellent circular flow to self-clean the koi waste. Highly recommended.

This is a greatly designed and built pump. It has two flaws: It does not have a speed control and it is quite tall and may not fit well in many fountains. Also a right-adaptor for tube connects would help.

I use it for draining 4 hydroponic reservoirs, ranging from 25-220 gallons, so I can use the waste nutrients to feed container plants outside. I didn't need a big sump pump for this because I want a relatively small flow so I can run it through a watering wand and feed other plants. I have 3 feet of tubing connecting this to a garden hose adapter so I can store it easier when not in use. I have my doubts about pump life but we'll see how it goes, it's not terribly built but the fittings are on the thinner side. For the price I'm happy with it.

Works as expected with clean water. I use mine for water changes in my aquarium and it’s perfect for that. Wouldn’t use it in a mud hole or very abrasive water. Not for industrial use.

I'm basically happy with the job this pump does however I'm not happy that this one has been stopping when warm the weather is warm and the combination has been making it stop, after time it will start but concerned it will fail entirely. My last pump worked well for over a year with no issues.

Smaller than expected but moves a lot of water. Using to replace the skimpy pump that came with my pool set in a custom filter setup. Very quiet running. Multiple output size adaptors are a big plus. Lots of plastic which is good because it won't corrode just not durable if you plan on dropping it - so don't. Only complaint is that with a 9' lift capability the 5' cord is way too short. It's not great or safe to have to use an extension cord connection that close to your water.
