    • These are solid quality and have so many uses
I can imagine how these could be super useful in a wide variety of applications. I have them holding up UV grow lights; they allow me to quickly (seconds) adjust the height of the grow lights as my plants grow taller. The string is a nice, thick, nylon/paracord type material, and feels like it could probably handle much more weight than any of my grow lights. Raising the lights is as easy as pulling on a string. You get that nice ratcheting sound and since the gears/workings are the same on all of them, it is very easy to achieve balance when you have a light hung using two or more of these. To lower, there is a simple lever you can move. You will want to hang on to your light when you release this lever, as it will go full descent, very quickly. As long as you expect this, I can't imagine a better way for it to work. Very efficient. I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend, as well as other Vivosun products I have purchased and have found to be of excellent quality. ... show more

I got these to raise and lower my lights on my vegetable seedling lights. Set them up yesterday. They seem like they will do a great job and the price was good . I'm happy.

These are the best hangers I've used. After stuck mechanisms, fraying rope, seized gears and crappy carabiners I purchased these thinking "Here goes more money for garbage hangars" I WAS WRONG!

Quicker and easier than using S hooks and chain to raise/lower grow lights. The only drawback is having to compensate for the length of the ratchet housing and carabiner clip.
