First one a dud, replacement runs strong
Style: 400W; 5284GPH
The first one I ordered runs for a few seconds but immediately seized while running clean water. The impeller wouldn't budge when I tried moving it with my finger. I received a replacement through Amazon. It works as expected and is very quiet and powerful. It seems to pump better than my previous pump of similar rating. I like that it can be mounted flat so that more of the motor can be submerged, which I think can prevent overheating in a low water situation. This pumps in my waterfall that has a 6-7' head, and the flow is great. I did place it is a seive bag for guarding against debris. It's only been running a few days non-stop and i will update when it gives up.

Pond pump
Style: 400W; 5284GPH
Worked well to replace a smaller failing pump. The only problem was that the supplied transition from male to female coupling leaked along a seam and was replaced with another fitting.

It's working well don't fix it
Style: 400W; 5284GPH
Thank you for the prompt service. Bought this unit as a spair for the four year old pump of the same model. It's still operating well.

It took a beating and kept on pumping!
Style: 400W; 5284GPH
I had four solid years of this pump running 24/7/365.24 with many times running dry for a few days at a time. I think this last one finally made this pump bite the dust. For $100 for a very strong pump that lasted this long - well there's not a better deal than this. I bet if I cleaned the insides more often (or even once) it would have lasted longer. This ran year round in New Jersey - pumping water up a 3'-4' waterfall and into a frozen pond in the winter.

<1/2 the price of Little Giant
Style: 400W; 5284GPH
The media could not be loaded. This is a replacement for my 5 year old a Little Giant pump in a koi pond. The Vivosun is rated 3x more GPH but is less than 1/2 the price. The only hack that I had to do was to find an adapter from the hardware store that allowed me to use my own hose connector for my 1 1/4” hose. Once plugged in, the Vivosun water flow is powerful. Glad I took a chance on this Vivosun pump.
