The media could not be loaded. My wife and I are big into doing stuff ourselves. I have a 3D printer and many wood working tools to that fact. We have always wanted to make our own t-shirts but after looking into screen printing which seems really complex and messy we were discouraged. Then I stumbled upon the world of heat transfer vinyl and sublimation. So I started to look for a heat press. At first I was discouraged by how much a professional or hobby level heat press would set me back but I kept and the hunt and found this one. The heat press came packaged very well and had a few rips from the shipper but the press had no damage at all. I opened the box and found the instructions right away. One of the best about this press was the the fact that there was no assembly required. I took it out of the box, read the instructions, plugged it in and used the press in less the 20 minutes. All of the controls are easy to use and the three profiles you can set up for different projects are very convenient for repeated pressing of more then one of the same item. I made my first t-shirt in less then 20 minutes. This press can do so much more with all the included accessories that I have yet to try but look forward to. I am loving this 8 in 1 Vivo Heat press. I had purchased the Cricut heat press, but with not having consistent heat temperature for my projects for my business, I searched online until I found this heat press. I do not normally submit reviews. However, I am excited to say that this has been a god send for doing sublimation as well as HTV projects. This heat press is easy to set up right out of the box. I love being able to easily program/set my heat temps and time for 3 different programs. I can switch between the programs with one button. Most of all, I want to acknowledge and praise the company for the help they gave me when I had an issue with my heat press. They were curtious and gracious enough to replace my machine quickly so that my business could be up and running again in no time. I have not yet used the heat press, but I chose it from the photos on Amazon as it looked to be heavy and well made. The shipment arrived promptly and the box was in good condition. I have unpacked it and it seems as well made as the photos depicted. All parts were there. As with most other reviews of various heat presses, I wish there were better instructions with it, but I have yet to search the internet for more detail.     • Works great...when it turns on.
I purchased this press in mid October 2020. Now there seems to be a problem with the power switch. Sometimes when the switch is moved to the on position, it does not turn the unit on. I am hoping that the power unit can just be switched out. I tried to contact the company via email per instructions on the website, and to date (2 weeks later) I have not received a response. I will try to contact them again, and I hope they make this right. I don’t feel this malfunction should occur within the short period of time I owned the press. ETA- I changed to four stars because the customer service offered a partial refund for inconvenience since replacing the switch is a relatively easy fix to do on my own without having to ship anything in for repair. It took a bit to find a switch with the same dimensions and specs, but the part was cheap enough. ... show more

    • DON'T BUY! Read 1 Star Reviews. Heat Fails in months
I bought this for my wife after seeing it had 4 of 5 stars and received some good reviews. The price was reasonable considering the next best thing was industrial grade for $800+. What I didn't do is check the 1 star reviews for issues that were repetitive. Long story short, the heat failed after less than 100 presses, or 9 months. And unfortunately, many other people had the same issue. Like most heat presses, this product is made in China and distributed by VivoHome (Vivo throws a label on it, but notice there's many others that look just like it). VivoHome customer support is non-existent, with only an email address for contact. The phone number didn't work. I'm guessing most people write their "AMAZING" reviews after opening the box. To them and everyone else - I say, GOOD LUCK! And shame on Amazon for allowing these companies to sell trash. ... show more

Ok so far I unpacked everything nothing was damaged. I have tested every single item that came in the box nothing is damaged. First thing was first I plugged it in fired it up got underneath the top plate with a temperature gun and tested every single bit of that top plate for temp. There was less than a 5 degree variance anywhere on the plate between the center and the sides. This is an amazing press. The top cool to the touch as advertised. Smoking deal. The media could not be loaded. This press heater is worth every single penny. I have the cameo 3 and making t-shirts using the iron was so hard and time consuming. It's easy use and worked perfectly. I bought this unit for $369 on Amazon about 2 years ago. I only pressed about 265 items (there's a counter on the screen). Last night, I turned it on to press a few items and it wouldn't heat up. I tried turning it on and off and nothing. So disappointing. What's more disappointing is there is no warranty on the heating element where other companies give you that. Customer service did nothing for me....basically i'm out of luck. Obviously, I won't be buying this brand ever again. ... show more
