I assumed it would be made out of a cheaper particleboard sort of material, and went with it anyway because I don't even know how long my daughter will want a vanity. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to assemble that it is solid and made of solid wood! Easy to assemble and beautiful. I will start by saying that I absolutely love the final product after building it! The process of putting it together was exceptional! I had researched many vanities before picking this one and most of them talked about how difficult the process of putting it together was. When I read reviews on this product I saw people say that the instructional guide was good and the process of putting it together was easy. So I decided to go with this one. I feel exactly the same way! Yes, it did take me probably five hours to put it together over the course of the day, but the instructional manual is the best I've ever seen of any piece I've ever tried to put together. It's way better than IKEA. Everything was incredibly organized in the box and after taking everything out - it was so well labeled and organized I couldn't believe it! Putting together this piece was super easy if you follow the instructions and the diagrams. You can also find a video in the item on Amazon that will show you how it's put together from start to finish so it leaves no room for question. And I love that! if you want an easy process for putting a vanity together this is the best one! And this company gives incredible manuals and instructional video availability. I highly recommend this and cannot say enough about everything about it! My daughter is overjoyed with her vanity desk. The one thing I will say is it comes with a bench which is very wobbly and we preferred to buy a separate chair to go with the desk. We'll keep the bench as extra seating in her room.

I had an easy time putting this together. The instructions were clear. All of the pieces were labeled and in good condition. The mirror has a scratch on it but it's very minor. My daughter wishes the light was brighter but overall, it's a solid vanity and good purchase.

This was our big gift for Xmas. Our daughter was so excited to have her own vanity! It was easy to assemble and is good quality. It’s honestly more beautiful in person than the photos showed it to be. The details on the stool are darling with flower cut outs.

The set looks like it is portrayed in the photos. The problem is with the quality of the build. After having it for one week the stool of the set broke. One of the screws for the mirror supports did not fit in the screw hole so we had to improvise. For what I paid for this I’m not too happy with the overall quality of what was given.

Update: Well, there is a pretty big downside to this vanity as I found out over time. The mirror is too far away :( I imagine that's not necessarily particular to only this vanity as I have seen most have a similar set up, but am I alone in needing yet another mirror about a foot in front of the mirror provided? I cant see tiny details that far away. Also, the stool broke relatively quickly but to be fair to it my ex who is on the heavier side sat down on it momentarily and was telling a story and getting worked up and with one twist of his hips *crack* went my little stool *sniff* RIP little stool. Impossible to even glue back together with wood glue, once it's broken its broken for good :( I wanted a vanity since I was a little girl more than anything but for whatever reason I never bit the bullet as an adult and got one. I decided to treat myself when I saw this at a good price and had pretty good reviews. I saw a few people say that it was difficult to assemble but that was not true for me at all. Took about an hour but I wasn't even moving that fast. The lights are very bright, it's very sturdy, has five drawers, and the mirror swivels! It's just gorgeous and the little bench is very sturdy as well. All my friends that come over want to play with it's the cutest lol
