The Baby Trend® Trooper™ 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat converts from rear-facing infant seat and rear-facing toddler seat to forward-facing toddler seat as your child grows. With 5-position shoulder height adjustment and 2-position crotch buckle for seat adjustment, the Trooper™ Convertible gives parents the ultra-convenience for installation and adjustment. The rear-facing recline flip foot allows the Trooper™ to get great installation angles with ease. Trooper’s nimble frame can fit three across in most vehicles which is great for families that have more than one kiddo. The lightweight shell also allows for use of LATCH installation up to 55 lb. Forget the Cosco Scenera, this is the travel car seat you want. It's really lightweight and easy to carry despite being a larger, more comfortable size for larger babies. It was super easy to install on various airplanes and is slim enough to fit within the seat without any issue. Our baby was comfortable, safe, and secure in it during our flights and in our rental cars. The only thing I might suggest for future versions would be a handle of some sort to make it even easier to carry, but I didn't have any issues lugging it through the airports, and if you got a travel bag for it that would take care of that. Love this car seat for the most part. We use it as a travel car seat since it is so light weight and easy to carry through an airport. Padding is good and my toddler seems very comfortable in it. Wish the latches were the click in kind. It is hard to get the seat installed super tight like I like but it is tight enough for my comfort. Love the weight limits on it though! ... show more

This is the second time I have bought this seat, I originally bought one for my then 1 year old, and still use it, she is three. Then when my second child turned 1, I got this seat again. It is great and easy to install, which is anyone has put in a car seat you will know that is a big deal! We traveled with it and installed in our rental vehicle and it was quick and easy which is helpful when you just want to leave the rental car place! Seat cover comes off easily to wash.
