The media could not be loaded. Love love love this. It’s not exactly like the real thing, but for virtually no work and lots of aesthetic, it is perfection. Our fireplace needs some work because it’s an old home, and this was a way more affordable solution. The heating part is mediocre. It can heat up our den to about one extra degree, but it’s not noticeably hot. I’d say at most it’s a nice warm fan effect. I actually prefer this since it doesn’t seem to ever overheat and would prefer the safety aspect over using it as an actual heater. My favorite thing about this one is that you can use it with only the flame effect. The remote is simple to use and has a button specifically for that. Many a night we sit with the flames on and a cozy blanket, and just watch movies with it in the background. It’s awesome!

My grandmother has a beautiful living room fireplace, but she stopped using it after my grandfather passed away when I was a little girl (in the 90s). His birthday was November 24, but our family has always celebrated it on Thanksgiving, so this year, I decided to surprise my grandmother by putting an electric fire in the fireplace. This turned out better than I ever imagined. Altogether, set-up only took about 10 minutes. That includes carrying the old grate to the garage, unboxing and placing the machine, and finding an extension cord (my grandmother's house is pretty old, so there aren't as many electric outlets and this product's cord isn't very long). When turned on, this is absolutely stunning and quite realistic, especially because the back has this function that casts realistic flame effects onto the wall. The heat function works well to add warmth to this large room. You can hear the fan, but it's not overly noisy at all, nor is it unpleasant. The remote control is quite easy to use, as are the controls on the actual device. Everyone in the family loves it; my mom is already talking about getting one for the summer cottage's fireplace. It's amazing how much warmth and coziness this brings to the room. I know my grandpa would've loved it, too.

I had a fireplace that I wasn't using but with the upcoming cold weather, thought I would go ahead and invest the $100 in this product. Easy to install, remote works well and heat output is okay - The flames playing on the back of of the fireplace look nice. The Red Led in the middle of the firelogs is a little distracting, and on initial set up - a very plastic heat smell but that disappeared over time - doesn't have a temp gauge, nor crackling sound so you can hear the wheels turning and of course the blower but all in all I am happy with the purchase for the price and fulfills my need nicely.

We bought this product in Dec 2023. It was good. We only used for about 7 days during holidays last year. Right before Christmas 2024 , we started to use it, unfortunately the remote control didn’t work. After contacted with customer service, we were told we should get a replacement. However, we received an email next day and said we need to pay addition $30 to replace poor quality remote control. I cannot believe how bad the quality of remote control (it’s broken only used for 7 days) and cannot believe how expensive for a small piece of plastic remote. BTW, the product also has buttons in the side, however it cannot be turned off for the fan and had to turn off whole heater.
