Our pond pump stopped working right before we were ready to winterize it last winter. My husband has been looking for a submersible pump that was better than he had. This is it. He liked the wattage, (very important to help keep electric bills down in the summer). He likes that is has a 1600 gph. Higher than his last pump. He also likes the adjustable nozzle. When he read that this also came with it's own bag, he was really glad. He's always made his make shift bags that never hold up. This bag seems like it will do a marvelous job at keeping debris away from the pump. He will be getting our pond reset up in about 6 weeks. We still have about 2 feet of snow, and it is the day before Easter. Actually the pond itself has almost 4 feet of snow. In any case, this pump should out perform and meet my husband's expectations.
