This stand is pretty awesome, especially for the price and fast prime shipping. Some (mostly very positive) things I'd like to point out: - Extremely Sturdy: Most TVs come with flimsy plastic bases, and in my experience, large TVs tend to sway during earthquakes or when someone accidentally bumps into them. But this stand is sturdy enough that my TV doesn't move at all anymore. - Two Legs with Rubber Padding: Having two legs is definitely more stable than one little stand in the middle. Also, the bottom of the feet are coated in a rubber material which helps prevent sliding and doesn't scratch your furniture. - Legs are Black and Made of Metal: You can tell that the metal is thick enough to be essentially unbreakable. Everything is black, so it's the same color as the TV and it looks really good on a dark TV cabinet or desk. Even though it's metal, it surprisingly doesn't add too much weight to the TV. - Very Adjustable: There are plenty of options for which holes to use, so it fits quite a few TV sizes. Also, if you have a somewhat medium size TV like my 46 inch set, then you can choose the perfect height for your TV, whether that's really close to what it is sitting on or really high or anything in between; I can get my TV as close as one and quarter inches clearance between the bottom of my TV and my desk, and I can raise that at most another seven and half inches (total clearance of eight and three-quarters inches). - VESA Compatible and All Tools Included: All of the standard VESA bolt sizes are included. It also comes with an Allen wrench for the bolts and hex wrench for the nuts. - More Space on Furniture: Without the original huge plastic base in the way, I can put other things in front of or even under my TV. There is plenty of room between the legs to put other electronics under the TV, depending of course on how high you have the TV sit. - Easy Instructions: You can totally rely solely on the pictures if you want, although there are written instructions with each diagram. You do need to access the back of your TV where the VESA mounting holes are, so I found that the best way to do the work is lay the TV face down on something large and soft like a bed. It took me less than fifteen minutes to set up. I've had this stand set up for a few weeks now and so far I'm very impressed. I've even been showing it off to people I know. My mom decided to get one too because she has a very heavy, very wobbly 55 inch TV and is worried about it falling over. The best part is that this stand can go on just about all of the most common TVs sold these days, so I can keep using it even if I get a new TV one day. ... show more

    • Instructions are a cryptic mystery
The instructions are super hard to follow, I recommend waiting on using the foam stickers until the next to last step. Or just putting the whole thing on something with padding, IDK. Putting the harness together made me feel as if the rig might be a bit unreliable. The legs rattled as I was assembling them. Everything felt like it might strip if I overtightened. Once I got it assembled and on the back of the TV, however.....yeah, still janky. lol I added some runner o-rings to some of the screws and <bam?> works. Maybe buy something else. ... show more

    • Overall an excellent choice for low budget flat screen TV stand
Overall an excellent choice for low budget flat screen TV stand. I looked into some rather fancy articulated wall mounts that were 10X the price. I had a rather unique problem placing a large (55") TV in an older built in entertainment center designed for really OLD TV (from the 1990's which weighed about 150lb). The new TV's seem to come w/ flimsy little bird legs that are way out on the sides of the screen and therefore require a long skinny table or stand. The VIVO stand was the perfect solution, since it essentially brings the legs in towards the center of the TV. I had to be a bit clever and reverse both the vertical rods and point the feet in the opposite direction in order to get this to fit on my stand. My only complaint is that the word free picture directions are somewhat vague. Not really clear from the pictures which is the 'front' of the stand. It's important to recognize the triangular leg supports have a flat side and an angled side. The flat side should face front, and the longer part of the foot should also face front. This flat part of the triangle allows for full up/down adjustment of the height of the screen.This kit comes w/ all the necessary screws, shims, bushings, hardware etc., so no running to the hardware store to find metric bolts. I also modified mine by drilling holes in the feet and fastening the feet to my stand. This mount is made of steel and very strong, so I feel my new TV is secure since I live in earthquake country. ... show more

I was able to successfully use this on my Panasonic 50 inch Viera Plasma TV . Thw installation was time consuming. But given the really heavy plasma TV of mine, thus stand is holding up very well.. It doesn't feel as sturdy as the original stand but it gets the job done! The much additional height I get frkm this stand over the original stand is great. ... show more

Got this to add some height to my 65" Samsung TV so that I can place my Pioneer Elite center channel on top of the cabinet without blocking the TV. Absolutely love this solution. Easy to install, cheap, and adjustable. Would've been nice if it had some sort of cross member for extra stability though, as it is a little wobbly from side to side, but it's not really an issue. It's not going to cause it to fall at all. It does come with a wall anchor strap too for added security. For our home, it's fine as it is and it is more than stable enough for me to feel completely comfortable leaving it as it is without the anchor. ... show more
