I WILL update the stars once I've been able to actually ride it and test it out, but as of right now I'm sitting here stuck at home with no mode of transportation when I legitimately planned my week out around having this bike. So I'm pretty upset (at the circumstances, not sure if anyone is to BLAME, per se) as of right now. The bike arrived on time. It was fairly easy to assemble... as easy as a bike might be. Once I got to the part where you start inflating the tires, the back tire blew out before I even finished inflating it to the range listed on the instructions. I immediately contacted customer service (not via Amazon, they led me to Vivi) and they were pretty responsive fairly quickly. They are mailing me a new tube (I literally don't even know what that is) and I know nothing of fixing a tire or tube (whatever the heck that is...) so now my struggle is finding a way to get this bike to a shop so that they can re-tube (?) it and put the tire back on. I read some other reviews saying the tires aren't great as is, so I may end up just buying new tires, I don't know yet - but let me tell you, I'm super sad about this situation. I had all these appointments and plans... For the last month I've been stuck in an apartment in a new state where I don't know a single person and I don't have a car. This bike was supposed to alleviate me of being cooped up (of course I get outside and take walks but I can't go anywhere to run any errands or go anywhere specific... I have a baby so I can't take an uber [no car seat because I have no car] and this bike was going to be my saving grace. When the new tube or tire or whatever arrives, I will be sure to update the review but I picked this bike because of how quickly it could get here and I am sick of being stuck at home, so this is a pretty big disappointment right now. UPDATE: The Vivi company is VERY quick to respond and actually continually reached out to me to check on the status of my issue. I didn't want to wait for them to send me new tires (5-7 days shipping I'm sure) so I took it to a bike shop. Funnily enough, it took him a week to order the tires and install them himself, so the timing was moot, but they reimbursed me for the bike repair and very quickly at that - they were actually reaching out to me for the receipt so they could pay me lol. The bike rides smooth and the electric is so much fun! It's my first e-bike. I will say that if you're used to Trek bikes like I am, it may take some adjusting to the style of the bike... most bikes (such as this one) have pedals that go pretty directly underneath your body - Trek uses pedals that are placed further out front so you're almost sitting like you would in a car with your feet forward. I guess I was used to that pedal placement and I had to get used to riding this way, but my husband tried it and he has never had a Trek and he doesn't notice anything funny about the pedals at all. Just thought it might be worth mentioning if you came from Trek. Anyway - highly recommend due to 1) the ease of putting together, 2) the quick delivery, 3) the price, and 4) the VERY responsive customer service At the end of the day it's probably a comparable ebike to many others but we don't have any complaints yet!!

We purchased two of these Vivi electric bikes during a clearance sale for around $249 each, and overall we are very happy with them for the price. Assembly was fairly straightforward. The bikes came with tools and a handy tool bag containing everything needed for setup. However, both included screwdrivers cracked during assembly after light use, so the tools themselves are not the best quality. Both bikes also arrived with cracked front fenders. I contacted the company by email, and they responded quickly and are sending replacement fenders, which I appreciate very much. The instructions were somewhat helpful, but we still had to use YouTube videos for assistance since it wasn’t always clear which Vivi assembly video matched this exact model. One of the bikes also needed a front brake adjustment out of the box, but I was able to find a YouTube video and fix it quickly and easily myself. Once assembled and adjusted, the bikes have been awesome. They are comfortable, sturdy, surprisingly “spunky,” and much higher quality than we expected at the price we paid. The handlebars and seat are easy to adjust, and the batteries seem to last a long time. If I had paid the original listed price of around $600, I might have been more disappointed with the quality control issues. But at the clearance price we paid, these bikes have been an excellent value and we definitely plan to keep them. Pros: * Fun and comfortable to ride * Good battery life * Easy enough to assemble * Sturdy feel * Responsive customer service Cons: * Cracked fenders on arrival * Included tools broke during assembly * Instructions/videos could be clearer * Minor brake adjustment may be needed

Have had the bike for a little over a week and so far zero major issues with it. The only grievances I have had with the bike was the fenders being wildly bent in shipping and requiring a good amount of work to try and get them to stop rubbing the wheels. They still sometimes rub the tire if its bumpy which is an annoyance but nothing bad enough to stain my experience. The flip up seat to access the battery also does not work with the seat I have and the bar to activate it is cast iron so you cannot easily bend it to allow its use on other seats. Its not a huge deal but removing the seatpost every time is a bit annoying. The build was otherwise painless if you've assembled a bicycle before The bike will go 20mph without much fuss and comfortably stays between 10-18mph, and i was able to go over 11 miles the other day and still had over half capacity. The ride is pretty good and the brakes work great once theyre adjusted properly the throttle is basically a binary switch but at this price something has to be skimped on, and the addition of the cruise control mode makes it up to me personally I will update my review if anything comes up but so far I am very happy with my purchase

I’m really enjoying this bike, the quality is excellent. The electric motor is very responsive as a pedaling assist or as the propulsion. The motor also has a low, medium, and high mode! The removable battery makes it so simple to charge quickly! Some of the additional features (like the front/rear/break lights and electric motor cut out when ybreaking) are super beneficial. Comfort wise I was super impressed with the bike seat - it’s wide and well cushioned. The handle bars and seat were also easily adjustable. Setting up the bike took about an hour. It came with the tools required to set up, but a bike pump for the tires will also be needed. Well made and designed e bike!

The bike is a great fail you and the great price. I had a small problem with this bike when it arrived. At the sellers own expense, they fixed the problem immediately to make a customer happy. You can ride this bike all day without pedal assist in all 7 gears. It is definitely one of the easiest bikes to ride around. I have a traffic radar sign near my home, with the bike in the fast mode and peddling very quickly we were able to get the radar speed up to 24 mph. That’s well above the 20 mph post. You will not be disappointed in this bike, from this seller.

What a nightmare from this seller VIVI!!!!!!!!!! Placed an order for this item for $590 in early June. Received a box (We paid $170 for shipping) days later containing only the main frame of the bike with many parts missing!!!! They refused to send a replacement but asked us to patiently wait for the manufacturer to send the parts in back-order. Now it’s the end of August they are still just saying the parts are on their way????? Trying to contact the Amazon to solve this. The Amazon customer service agreed that the seller should refund the order. From July to now, the seller refused and the Amazon couldn’t do much since it was the so called “third party ordering”. How disappointing and heartbreaking experience with this seller and its customer service!!!!My kid was waiting for the bike for the 4th of July holiday. Not only she couldn’t have one for the Independence Days holiday in July, but also she didn’t have a bike for the whole summer! It’s a shame for the seller to continue selling this defective item and similar ones to the customers !!!

Got flattened rear tire twice in a month, each of which costed me $60 to repair. The shop told me the external tube was really cheap quality, and recommended to replace that as well. You get what you pay for.
