The hammock is lovely and now that it is together, it is quite comfortable. Primary issue was in putting it together they appear to have the wrong sized bolts by about an inch. The set comes with two sizes, and the longer ones are intended to go through three pieces of the base stand, and it would appear to need to be 8”, not the supplied 7”. I watched the you tube video twice to ensure there was no magic solution, tried multiple times, and ultimately we had to modify the base to make it work with the hardware supplied. I called the line in the booklet and they got back to me later suggesting I may have used the wrong size or installed wrong, but they were just too short to go all the way through and be able to attach a washer and bolt. Hammock is now assembled, it is attractive. Creaks when I get in and out. The stain is a bit uneven with the end pieces and feels like it may need to be restrained and top coated for durability. Overall for comfort and attractiveness I would give it 5 stars. Ease of assembly 1 star for incorrect hardware. And while I can’t fully rate for durability, we shall see. ... show more

It is a beautiful Hammock and is well-built. Bought this for our backyard patio and it matches our furniture very nicely. It is adjustable so that is a plus. Even after being in the sun for months now, the colors have not faded from the material. My only complaint is that when you lay in it, the material wraps around you like a cocoon instead of lying in a natural u-shape that would droop. When you lay down you’re almost horizontally flat. Also.. it’s difficult to get it to move in a swinging motion; it’s pretty much stationary. If you want a hammock that you can swing in, opt for a different build/style. ... show more

Great Hammock! Bought this for my husband for Father’s Day. A little tough to assemble, my husband thought the screws where the wrong size to fit thru 3pieces,so after he bought new ones he realized the screws that came with packaged fit after all he just had to flip the base so the recessed holes where on outside so screws went in easily. I love, love this hammock. I come out with a book, a laptop, my phone, but end up just lying in it mindlessly for hours. It is sturdy construction, was easy to assemble, lightweight (although very awkward to move by yourself). It is everything that I hoped for and more. Awesome hammock! Very sturdy, easy to assemble, and fairly priced. Some reviews complained that it doesn’t swing or that it is not big enough. I’m 6’, 250# and it’s plenty big enough and swings fine. Other reviews indicate that it’s tough to assemble or the bolts aren’t long enough...you have to lay the pieces out correctly per the directions and it assembled just fine. If you try to assemble backwards, the bolts don’t work. All in all, great product! ... show more

First of all it came in chipped. A section of the wood was chipped but OK, that could have happened during the delivery. Second the bolts were too short! it came with two different types of bolts. One set was fine, but the other set was literally too short. I had to go to the hardware store and get longer bolts. Third I had to hammer the caps as they didn't fit! The wooden part was carved out an oval, but the hole in the cap was a rectangle, or vice versa. Either way only the tip would fit. So i pulled out the mallet and started banging away. It finally went in. but having said that, after all of that extra work and me getting mad, the end result was good. It's very pretty and comfy so there is that. ... show more
