I needed more outdoor furniture so I got this adirondack deck chair. The assembly instructions say to estimate half an hour, and it did take that amount of time. I think there are a few more pieces like on the seat back that could easily be assembled at the factory and still lay flat in the shipping box and that would've saved 5 minutes. Regardless, the instructions were clear and everything assembled without problem. The chair has a nice amount of space and is comfortable enough for a hardwood chair. I am going to add a couple of cushions to make it even more comfortable. The chair folds fairly flat for the size, and that really helps with bringing it indoors or keeping it in the garage. However, the back of the seat splintered when I pushed the seat back forward to fold it. That area where it rubs should be sanded more smoothly and designed better. The price is reasonable for the natural hardware materials and the ability to fold. ... show more

These look great and are sturdy, solid, and comfortable enough- even without a cushion. Assembly was fairly straightforward. I like the fact that they can fold up for storage come fall. I bought a pair and they brighten the back yard nicely.

This chair is amazing. Very nice, well designed, easy to assemble and very comfy. It took me about 30 min to assemble. All the holes lined up nicely and the directions were easy to follow. The hardware is good quality. The chair doesn’t fold very easily, but I may have tightened the bolts a bit too much. This chair, fully assembled is solid as a rock and is incredibly comfortable to sit in. Getting to be completely built was the challenge in this product. First off, the packaging was wonderful. Great plastic and systemic styrofoam throughout the packaging to keep it safe. Everything that was supposed to be there was there! Started the install and at step two, connecting a panel to the bottom of the back, I got 4 turns in with the screwdriver and a large chunk popped off - almost like it was brittle or pressurized. After unscrewing the problem screw, I realized the pilot holes were not really drilled through, just extremely shallow and that seemed to be the cause. We grabbed some clamps, glue, and clamped it back down and continued the installation instructions. The rest of the install, I carried a drill and pre-drilled the rest of the holes from where they were to a deeper setting. I did not use a wider drill bit, just deepens the drive so the screws would have a deeper slot for guidance with the hope we wouldn’t have any more splits. The rest of the chair went just as it should have and as we completed installation the clamped piece that broke off held in with the supporting pieces around it. Sat in it, enjoyed it, and will hopefully get it outside once the wet weather blows through. We will put a clear coat of sealant on it before we get it outside. ... show more

Fabulous chair that came with everything you need to assemble. Time frame for completion was exactly as stated. Comfortable and stylish. It doesn't really fold up like the instructions. When attempting to fold, it started to crack. Perfect chair for front porch sitting.

Horrible. They cracked before I even sat on them. Sucks because I put all 4 of them together and now to return I imagine I have to take them apart which is a total nightmare.

I have wanted an Adirondack chair for so long so I had to get this when I saw it. My fiancé had not too much trouble assembling, the instructions were pretty easy to follow. The chair is comfy, even without the cushion I bought for it. It fold up so easily for moving it and storage and aren't too heavy to carry to the shed.
