Excellent toilet safety rail with moveable arms/handles that function smoothly. I really like the fact that the handles or arms can be raised out of the way when not needed. They are stable and provide a clean look for the bathroom. The base plate is enameled steel, so it is very sturdy. I originally chose this model because there are two rows of mounting slots to aid in positioning forward or backward on the toilet. My only complaint is that the mounting slots are too narrow, standard 3/8" bolts will not fit through the steel base plate. I had to use the bolts and mounting hardware that came with the Vive Toilet Safety Rails. Usually that would not be a problem, but in this case, I was hoping to pair the Vive Toilet Safety Rails with a Beamis Medic-Aid raised seat that I bought on Amazon. I discovered the Bemis Medic-Aid raised seat has 3/8" bolts that are molded into the hinge and cannot be removed, so I was unable to use the Vive Toilet Safety Rails in combination with the Beamis seat. I was however able to install the Vive Toilet Safety Rails in a different bathroom, so all is good. I am pleased with my purchase. The installation was easy, and I consider the Vive Toilet Safety Rails a good value. If considering the Vive Toilet Safety Rails (which I do recommend), just be aware that you must use the included mounting hardware for installation and that a standard 3/8" bolt will not fit through the mounting slots on the steel base plate.

Heavy duty, very sturdy, easy to install. Got this for my dad, helps tremendously when getting off toilet. The arms can be raised up and out of the way, making it easier to clean the backside. I definitely would recommend this product for anyone that has issue with getting off the toilet.

Excellent hand rails. Very sturdy and got them even to fit under an existing bede setup. The fact that each arm rest can be put in upright position makes it very handy for tighter areas. I really like the way they look too! Was very easy to install.

Installed this for my 90 year old grandmother along with a walk-in shower before she came home from a knee replacement. This is her favorite part of the renovation and she talks about how incredible it has been for her. It helps her both get onto and off of the toilet and is very stable. She likes that she can move the handles up and out of the way for visitors that don't need assistance. Now her 95 year old sister wants one.

Ordered this for the wife and scored some points! She loves it and I wonder why I didn't do this sooner. Am very impressed with the build quality and stability when installed. Components are solid and well-designed, installation instructions make sense. This company obviously carries through in their quality assurance, nice to see that some still do that. The clips that hold it on are very subpar. The bolts don't fit through a standard toilet seat. My dad had to modify it for my mom. We would have sent it back if we weren't in immediate need for a handle solution. Once it was modified, they liked it. The product is actually very sturdy.
