Easy install, great height ( I am 5’5”) most “normal” looking of the raised seats I had researched. Love that it uses my existing padded seat and lid, is very supportive & comfortable and the sturdy arms provide secure, easy on/off access for my post-op use. I was so worried about this after extremely painful surgery but this seat met my bathroom needs perfectly. My husband finds it affords plenty of room for his use and no leakage noted. Perhaps we are unusually tidy toileters, but keeping it clean is no problem. I plan to leave it up after my recovery because it makes toilet use so much more comfortable on aching backs ,hips & knees for our guests too. The price was more than right given the satisfaction provided. This is a terrific product and I am grateful to the sellers. Highly recommended.

This item is just what it says--elongated seat. Easy to install. I did not need extra bolts as some reviews noted. I did put a small piece of rubber between this seat and the toilet where the bolts go through just to make sure it will not slide. It is nice that your original seat will probably fit on top of this seat to make it a little higher and more comfortable, and can close when not in use. It is very sturdy. Purchased another brand with legs last year, but it was very uncomfortable and was not elongated as it stated. It would fit an elongated toilet, but the opening was small and round. The package arrived when it said it would and was in good condition.

The Vive raised toilet seat is working out for me quite well. I've had leg surgery and need to be off that leg for at least 6 weeks. Having the toilet seat raised, with handles allows, me to use the toilet by myself. It fits our Toto elongated seat very well. I did put some support under the front of it to keep the seat more secure. I hesitated on this purchase, but am very glad I decided to buy it. I recommend.

This toilet seat riser is easy to assemble and does the job, sort of. I actually just needed the handles following back surgery and it was helpful in this respect, but it does not have a positive way of stabilizing the riser on the toilet, so it can shift position even when the screws are tightened correctly. It also has a gap between it and the toilet bowl which can not be cleaned without removing the riser, which is not that easy, the wing nuts being quite low behind the toilet. What this product needed was some shields extending down inside the toilet bowl for a couple of inches, in order to stabilize its motion and to protect the gap from getting dirty. Since it allowed me to stand up using the handles, I will not return it after using it, but it went back in its box and will keep it in my garage, just in case. I purchased from Amazon a "FSA/HSA Eligible Toilet Safety Rails, Adjustable Toilet Safety Frame", which works much better, is less expensive and is very well designed. You don't need to remove the toilet seat and cover, just place it in front of the toilet tank.

Ordered this for an elderly relative who was having problems with lower back pain. The higher seat has relieved that discomfort. The easy assembly took minutes and perfectly fits the elongated shape of the commode. Now she has a bit more support holding the sturdy, padded arm rest, when rising up from a sitting postion. UPDATE: It only took a couple days for this seat to start coming loose! Sadly the user just doesn't have the muscle power to lift up, without affecting this seat, but I FIXED IT. I went to the hardware store and got two metal washers to place on top of the seat under the soft plastic one. NOW IT'S WORKING GREAT! I check it every now and then but it's holding. Anything that can help with the aging process is welcomed. I highly recommend this solution.
