This is a terrific product for what it is - a compact, lightweight, light-duty, foldable rollator for those (like me) who need exactly that. For general use, where I *don’t* have to fold up my rollator, load it into my back seat, and unload it for use elsewhere, I have my outstanding Evolution rollator that is a truly great product. However, it’s about 20 pounds, including my attached cane, and is a royal pain to load and unload for use elsewhere. The Vive Lightweight Walker, on the other hand, is a convenient, manageable alternative that is remarkably well-suited for loading in and out of a car and using on-the-go. It is half the weight (9.6 pounds) of my Evolution, and in about a second it folds to about a third of the volume of my beloved heavy-duty Evolution rollator - making it a perfect option when you’ll be loading it, driving elsewhere, and unloading it for use. What it’s NOT is extra-tall, nor is it heavy-duty or especially rugged. Contrary to erroneous data given throughout its listing, the maximum handle-height is most definitely 39” - NOT the false number of 42” shown in several places. For me, it matters, since I need 40”. But, I can’t find a comparable compact, lightweight, foldable option in 40”, so I make do with this 39” model. Also, although the listing and the user-manual (tiny, but helpful) give a maximum user-weight capacity of 300 pounds, you should take that with a grain of salt. If you’re 300 pounds (as I am) and expect the Vive to be able to support your body-weight, I think you’ll find that the somewhat fragile frame will give-way enough to cause you to fall to one side or the other. My solution to that is to NOT bear down onto it, such that the 300 pound weight-capacity would be an issue. I use my rollator (and my cane) solely to *steady* myself - NOT to support my full 300 pounds, or even close to it. At the most, I probably subject both rollator and cane to no more than 20 pounds or so of downward pressure, so the Vive is more than adequate for my needs, when travel by car is involved. All that considered, I highly recommend the Vive - as a mobile alternative to heavier, more substantial rollators when travel is involved. Just remember - it’s 39”, NOT 42”!

This little walker was just what I needed. I already had several different walkers but they were big and clunky and I didn't use them unless I absolutely had to. This little walker is perfect and I use it all the time inside the house and when I go out. It's very lightweight, takes up little space, one hand easy fold up and I can handle putting it in and out of my car by myself. Folded it doesn't take up much more space than my quad cane so it's easy to take into resturants and other places without taking up much room. It looks like it might be a little 'flimsy' but it's actually pretty sturdy. I'm very happy with it and highly recommend.

This is an excellent lightweight walker that is very convenient to keep in the car for use when going places when a larger walker is just to heavy and difficult to fold up and lift into the car. Since it folds so compactly, it is good for taking to church, a movie theater, etc. and putting in front of you. The improved model has handbreaks which is a real plus. It is easy to maneuver as well; if you happen to need to go through a narrower space, it is easy to make the entire walker a little bit narrower and still feel supported as you are transversing the narrower space. I definitely recommend this walker!

Lightweight and easy to fold (and unfold). Not quite as sturdy as I expected but for local short walks it is very convenient. It goes in a car and can be stored unobtrusively in a restaurant. I will be getting a sturdier rollator but I expect to continue to use this for short distances when I do not need to carry anything. So far the brakes seem to work well.

This is wonderful....I have a heavy duty walker that I use in the home but when I go somewhere in the car I fold this up and throw in back seat....very light weight but sturdy...opens easily and folds just as easy. love it.

A very nice walker for in the car! A little less sturdy than the normal walker but it is strong enough for use in stores and doctor offices! It was adjustable to the correct height of the hand grips! The brake in my opinion requires extra strong grip to set and the wife has trouble with that due to arthritis! Easy to assemble and is comfortable for her and me when I get it out and set it up! Very light and easy to fold and unfold for storage in the car!

I bought this for my spouse who has Parkinson’s, he needs a lightweight one to use around the house and on short trips. I read the reviews so I knew it was going to be wobbly which it is but not too bad. My gripe is that the meager instructions say that the breaks lock in place and to pull up on the red handle to release the break. The breaks will stop the walker when the handles are squeezes, brakes are only on the rear wheels, but they do not lock in place. I haven’t figured out why yet so I guess I will contact support and see how much help they are. I’ll update after I speak with them and my spouse has used it a few times.
