This is a very good, solid, sturdy garden kneeler / stool. It arrived fully assembled. Just a matter of unfolding the legs which snapped right into place. I had several, ahem, oversized individuals both sit and kneel on it, and it held up like champ. The canvas bags will be handy to have for longer gardening tasks. The ONLY downside is folding the legs back down. Even with a firm grip in the center of the rod, both sides don't pull in evenly or smoothly. This may be a challenge for some. This is one of those garden items that I will leave "open" and not fold down the legs until fall cleanup time. And then I'll need to spray the rod / connection points with a little bit of silicone to make things easier. Other than that, this is a great garden tool to have! Update: this is strictly for the garden, NOT indoor use, especially on a smooth floor. It will slide right out from under you. The seller doesn't advertise it for indoor use, but if you're thinking it would be handy as a kneeler for indoor tasks, consider something else.

This is a good heavy-duty product. It's well made and although it folds, when it's opened up, it is solid. It provides a comfortable place from which to kneel and makes it easy to get up. The side pockets are handy for tools, seeds, etc. About the only thing that it doesn't have is a cup holder! (Just kidding there -- no marks deducted for that). The only thing on it that could be better is the weight. It's made of a ferrous metal, which makes it heavier and means that it might be prone to rusting. If it were aluminum, these issues would be eliminated (though I don't know what the cost would be). Despite my quibble, it is a nice accessory -- very well made -- and I am pleased to have it and recommend it.

To be honest, I was surprised with the build quality of this gardening bench. It's made to last, it's sturdy, and is versatile in that you can kneel on it or flip it over and use it as a bench. For those of use with arthritis in our knees, this is a necessity. And it has a nice wide, comfortable grip to assist in getting up, which is a game-changer. The bags that hang on the sides are a nice touch and handy to keep your gardening tools close at hand. I'm not a fan of how they slip over because they are loose. The padding is a high density foam, so it's firm but comfortable. The legs are easy to collapse/set up and it folds up nicely for storage when not in use. Very nice quality and durable construction. This is an easy recommendation and would make a nice gift for someone who loves to garden. My wife and I are very happy with this gardening bench. Like you, I always read the reviews before buying anything and appreciate honest, thoughtful reviews that assist me in making an informed decision. I hope you find this review helpful!

My flowerbeds were a mess because of lots of rain and apparently about a million weed seeds that got blown in due to lots of summer storms. It finally cooled off a bit today, so I spent several hours outside weeding with my new garden stool and a hori hori knife. And my phone playing me music from the pocket of my new garden stool. And my knees didn’t get dirty! And my back doesn’t hurt! And my phone didn’t overheat and shut off! I know the pockets are designed for your tools, but I highly recommend stashing your phone in one— it’s secure, the pocket keeps it in the shade so it won’t overheat, and you can’t randomly misplace your stool if you get distracted and go wandering off to do something else as long as you have music playing. This thing is going to be game changing, though my leg muscles may cease to exist with way less squatting. But my back feels so much better, oh well! I’m short, so I can reach the ground just fine from the seated position with the stool seat being higher, rather than flipped and low. I’m going to love this thing, and it appears to be built very well, so we’re going to have a long and close relationship.

Garden kneelers are one of the best inventions ever. Seriously. This 2-in-1 option lets me set it up as a short stool or I can adjust it to use as a kneeler. But what most of the others don’t do, but this one does, is it accommodates a heavier weight. Which this one does. Offering a rust-resistant frame that will support up to 400 pounds, which is fantastic. The kneeler is easy to put together and it’s fairly comfortable. The height, when sitting on it, allows me to lean forward to deal with the garden and for those times when I need to kneel, at the point my back becomes fussy, I can lean on the frame to help me stand without pitching forward. This, to me, seemed a bit pricey, but given that the one I had previously didn’t last very long and I wasn’t always sure it would hold up, this one feels worth it.

I hate weeding, but I hate the weeds and it is something that has to be done. Typically I will sit on a plastic bucket and move it around the landscaping as I slowly rid the yard of the infestations of clover and other unknown weeds. I typically will pay for it later on with a stiff back and pains all over. This amazing kneeler and seat has saved me from so much pain. I love that it works as both a seat and a kneeler all in one by just turning it over. The thing I love the most is that it has a pad on both sides to give your knees and your bottom some cushioning! It has 2 tool sacks that attach to the sides of the stool. It also folds up easily and nicely for storage. If you have weed issues and look for anything fun about weeding, this is somewhat of a bright spot as it makes it much more tolerable and easy to do this hate ridden chore.
