I wanted to like this so badly but have to return it because of the smell. It has an overwhelming smoky scent and I ended up having to wash it off my face because it wouldn’t go away.

This Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Daily Brightening & Exfoliating Peel has been working wonderfully thus far for me! It comes in the same type of bottle that Perricone MD products usually come in, with a separate dropper applicator that you can put on and use for dispensing. The dropper both picks up and pushes out the product well, no issues with leakage or dripping or anything like that. This goes on easily and dries down quickly. It doesn’t leave any stickiness or tackiness to your skin, and other skincare products can easily be layered on top of this without causing any issues. You can apply this with your fingers, or with a cotton pad. I prefer a cotton pad since it helps exfoliate a bit as well when I am wiping/patting the product into my skin, but it’s really completely up to your preference. Overall so far I’m quite happy with this! I have been using it for just about 3 weeks now, so I have not gotten the full effects yet. But from what I can see and feel already it is definitely doing some work on my skin!

Unboxing - This arrived packaged very well in appealing packaging. I loved that the product was sealed and the dropper was separate. I also loved the dark amber colored glass bottle. Right away, it seems like a higher quality product. Product- I just received yesterday so I've only used it twice. The liquid is thin but surprisingly, when applied to your face, feels instantly like a think serum. It remains feeling tacky, no matter how long it has to "dry". Definitely would not try to wear under makeup. The smell, is incredibly strong. Smells like black liquorice. When I tucked my daughter in tonight, she said my face smelled "spicy". I'd say that's an accurate description. It did make my skin feel very soft and plump the next morning after my first use though which may be a fair trade for the not so appealing scent. I'm only on day two and the smell is why I only gave 4 stars, but I'll update my review after I give it some more time to see results. I am really hoping to love it
