I have naturally curly hair and it frizzes in damp weather. I am not a woman of color. I bought this to take to Texas (very humid there). I washed my hair at home (dry climate) and upon arriving in the damp area my hair didn't frizz as much. It could have been I did not use enough. I did notice that after the 2nd or 3rd day it was not working at all. I think you need to re-wash hair and reapply. I did however use more and used my curling iron, it helped some but towards the end of the trip I used a wig I brought. Trying to keep my hair from frizzing was just too much work, using product and the curling iron 3-4 times per day, with little results. I haven't been back to a humid area so I don't know if it was operator error (not enough). ... show more

I have very curly and frizzy hair. It has been a struggle, my whole life. I’ve been looking for a way to work curly, but the frizz has been unmanageable. I bought several products at one time and this is my favorite out of all of them. I still have frizz, but it does, reduce it and make it More manageable. I am white, my hair is not dry, but is very curly and very fine. I just have tons of it. If it’s even slightly humid outside, I can feel it popping up like bedsprings on a mattress. I really like this product. I get really frizzy hair when things are humid in the summer. My hair is fine and many products weigh it down which I don't like. This product doesn't. First one I tried that does not weigh my hair down and controls the majority of the frizz, so far. Not being paid to write this. I took a chance & used a dime-sized amount as styling cream on my thick, keratin-treated hair (which has been struggling in the DC humidity this week.) I swear this product has made it softer and more humidity resistant. Really happy to have found this.
