For decades, I have only used professional products. I have used the shampoo and conditioner on my thinning hair for 8 months. I feel like I have more body, and it feels thicker after using this shampoo and conditioner. Definitely will be a repeat purchase.

Lately, I've found that most of the shampoo and conditioners I used to love and did a lot for my hair, are no longer available. If I'm being honest, usually when I love a product, it doesn't seem to stay on the market for very long. So, I've been searching for a new shampoo and conditioner of good quality that really helps my hair look as good as my past favorites used to. It's been a challenge especially since I'm over 40 years old now and my hair has changed in many ways. I have seen Virtue products "around" in various places online so I decided to do some research on them. Given that it is a fairly pricey brand, I didn't want to purchase an enitire 8oz and find out that I didn't like it so I was pleased to see that there was a small kit which featured 2oz of their shampoo, conditioner and minoxidil (which I've found out I can't use because it causes my blood pressure to drop because it's a vasodilator and I already have slightly low blood pressure). The shampoo has a very pleasant, light scent that isn't offensive or perfumey. It foams up well and really made my hair feel clean without drying it out. The conditioner was a bit too heavy for my hair, which I never thought I'd say about a conditioner. When trying the two in combination, the hair at my scalp looked a bit drab and heavy. However, everyone's hair texture and quality is different so if one person has a dry scalp and dry hair, this conditioner might be just what you need but for me it was too rich. Then I tried using the shampoo with a different conditioner and it left my hair looking voluminous, clean and shiny. I am happy with the shampoo but might try a different conditioner from Virtue since this particular type didn't do well for my hair.

Virtue Flourish is an amazing Shampoo that’s luxury in a bottle. Its smell is an amazing light musk. With it being so concentrated it takes less product I’ve notice than others to clean the hair and prep it further. My personal preference is a double cleans so shampoo twice especially if I’m using products to make sure the scalp is cleansed. People have stopped me and asked what I use and have had friends and other professionals buy it based on my results after two months.

I like this shampoo, like the scent, and hoped it would do good things for my hair. Unfortunately, as some others have said, it seemed to actually make my shedding worse rather than better. Worth a try, but I'm going back to my old shampoo.

I have fine thinning hair. I’m 70 Used to be blonde My hair stopped growing or perhaps it was just falling out, more. Dunno, but for the past 8 years it seems to be in a state of stasis. Until I tried Virue. A cancer patient informed my friend who was receiving Chemo about it. It’s incredible. I have been using it for about 5 months. For the first time in YEARS I have length and the texture is phenomenal. My hair feels different. It seems expensive but it’s not. It’s very concentrated. I wash my hair 3-4 times a week and I’ve had the same bottle fort 5 months as I noted. . The bottle is a little less than half full Love it!!

I really wanted to like this shampoo, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for my hair at all. The fragrance is extremely strong and honestly not very pleasant. Right after drying, my hair feels puffy, rough, and slightly frizzy. The texture feels strange and is not soft to the touch. What’s even more disappointing is that the volumizing effect only lasts a few hours. The next day, my hair completely loses volume and looks flat and weighed down.
