Excellent product, we'll constructed, plenty for my 2x4 tent or maybe too much, have not come close to using it on high, very bright, LM301's and dual meanwells, does just fine for me, huge change from fluros, the only downfall it has, it's older model style can't be dimmed or adjusted from a controller, oh well, still love it. I stepped up from the Viparspectra Par-600 to this Xs-4000 grow light. No more blurple grow lights for me, this XS-4000 light has high intensity like the sun. The dimmer control knob is very nice to have. Full length heatsinks that i put 4 whisper fans on blowing heat up & out with two fans pointing down on the drivers keeping them just slightly warm to the touch & keeping ends of heatsink cool which will keep this light functioning perfect for a long time. Very happy with the quality of light & nicely packed & shipped box.

I picked up the XS 4000. I started with the VA2000, which works great for veg cycle, but watt to yield has been reported to be low for these blurple type lights. The veg and bloom knobs are unnecessary unless you are trying to slow growth by limiting the IR/red spectrum lights. And in that case you could go with a 5000k-6500k light instead. I shopped around a little more carefully this time around comparing models and was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in the Viparspectra lineup. I had considered going HID/HPS for the bloom cycle to cover reds and white spectrum better, but between the short bulb life and higher operation cost, I figured it'd be worth it in the long run to spring for the real deal. I turned on the XS 4000, set the dimmer to 100% and I heard angels singing in the distance. This thing blows away blurple LEDs. Going with a full sun spectrum is providing an awesome boost to my indoor garden over what I was getting with the VA2000. The more natural light color balance makes it much easier to see diagnose your plants correctly too. You'll probably want to wear your shades when working under it. It's also cooler. THe dimmer switch is on the light, not a hidden screw on the ballast. The ballast and the heat sinks do get pretty warm. I dedicated a fan to blow side to side down on the entire length of the light and they stay much cooler. For a 4x4 tent this is perfection. My only regret is I should have gotten this one first instead of the VA2000. Do look in the comments and use the 20% off code!

This light works great! The proof is in the results and they have been SUPER! Wattage use is around 450 watts for this 4k watt light. It runs silent. Produces a little heat but it's perfect where I live. The ir lights are not bright but produce some spectacular buds!

Best LED light I've found for the money. So bright it's like looking at the sun! Tested by several 3rd parties as the highest PPFD than anything else on the market and only 1/3rd the electrical draw compared to output! I highly recommend this light!!!
