My first time using this video/audio recorder, I took a walk through a nearby park on a fairly busy day. Due to its small size and black color, I don’t think that anyone I passed had a clue that they were being recorded. It was fun to watch the replay, hearing the snippets of conversation as I walked. One feature that I liked was the recorder's ability to zoom while filming. This allows filming activity that is very close to you, then without stopping, zooming into a full landscape. Many other reviewers mention the instructions. There are brief instructions in the box. You can also find a YouTube video. Though there are only five buttons to operate, you will probably want to make notes since the buttons perform multiple operations based on “press,” “long press,” etc. Getting it right can help prevent you from becoming frustrated. Also in the box is a 64GB memory card, a usb charging cord, and a usb carrier for the memory card. Features of the recorder include: video files in avi format, audio in wav, still pics in jpg. The lens assembly rotates 180º so you can shoot from any angle, including selfies. “Night mode” lights up 5 LEDs (similar to flashlight mode on your phone – the camera records in black and white for night mode. Also, there is a tripod socket on the bottom. (Combining this with the motion sensing function could result in some interesting nature photos right from your window sill.) The more comfortable I get with the buttons, the more I tend to grab the recorder for a quick shot or bit of recording. From hiking in the woods to sneaking some candid shots in the super market, this camera is very enjoyable. One has to go into cameras like this with reasonable expectations. This is NOT a camera that is going to take shots you'll want to enlarge and mount on your wall, but it is inobtrusive, flexible (especially with the rotating lens module!), and absolutely effective as a mechanism for documenting what you've experienced. Think of it as video note-taking. The three frame grabs are from video shot in decent lighting, poor lighting, and poor lighting using the camera's disturbingly-bright built-in lights. They're all a bit too aggressively compressed, but that and the 64GB TF card are how you fit a recording of many hours into a tiny device like this. When the lights are not on, this unit is very discretely black; you really don't notice the lens, etc. The rear display is surprisingly decent, but has a different aspect ratio, so video looks a bit squashed horizontally when viewed on the camera, but that doesn't really affect the display's utility nor is the actual recording squashed. For example, I attend a conference with many exhibits each year, and this seems a great little device to stick in my pocket to take video notes on the exhibits. The image quality isn't really good, but with it stuck in my shirt pocket it's good enough to easily identify what I'm looking at and the audio is actually pretty clear. I'll generally carry a better camera with me anyway for product photos, etc., but this basically would make it a lot easier to remember details about each thing that I photographed with the better camera.     • Interesting little cam
I ordered this to try some different content type shots for my youtube videos. This little cam works well and is super easy to use and setup. The video it produces is pretty good as you can imagine it is a bit pixelized at times but for the size and type it's to be expected and you can tell it's a body cam and actually adds to the effect I was going for. I really didn't use the audio at all on it as I recorded that independently with a studio quality mic so I can't comment on that aspect at this time. I also did not use the lighting on it. If I end up using the audio or lighting in the future I will update my review however. The battery holds a charge well and for a long time and it comes with a SD card which worked well. The thing I liked most about it is that it has a view screen built in so you can see exactly what your capturing and I like that the lens fully rotates and you can mount it on a tripod or stick. Overall it's an interesting little cam to play around with and to get a body cam style shot/video which is exactly what I was looking for and it's in 1080p. ... show more

    • Good clip-on camera for the price
I ordered this camera thinking it could be useful with amateur ghost hunting. The battery life seems good, and the instructions and clear. The added portability of having the camera clip to you is really helpful. The only thing I'm not wild about is night vision recording. Generally, you ghost hunt at night using a night vision camera with IR lights that aren't visible to the human eye (like most home security cameras use). This camera has regular LED lights, not IR lights. That means the camera lights up a room like a small flashlight would, and it's not particularly good at distances beyond 6 or so feet. For paranormal investigations, it's better to have a truly dark room, so that's my one gripe is about the night vision. Otherwise, the product does everything I need it to do! ... show more
