I bought this after digging out some old records and to play a record I received from a friend. Upon receiving it, the unit I got wasn’t playing properly and kept shutting off. I planned on leaving a subpar review BUT... not only did the company get me a replacement the next afternoon, but the unit works & sounds great. It takes up very little space on our table and does just what we need perfectly. The original unit I had was a dud, but that happens with electronics sometimes. This is my first tabletop record player and I am pleasantly surprised with the quality & warm, fullness of the sound. The media could not be loaded. My record player just arrived last night and it's beautiful! Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, pretty vintage style, and the sound quality is better than expected. Internal speakers work decently and can get pretty loud. There's an auto-stop switch, but you have to return the needle manually. Technically, the record is easy to figure out. Great for beginners! Cons: sound quality decreases a little at higher volumes, bluetooth voice breaks the magic of having a manual record player, needle lock feels cheap Overall, I'd highly recommend this! Bought this in January and it was working fine until we unplugged it to clean under. When we plugged it back in it wouldn’t even turn on. Nothing. Disaster and won’t be buying this product again.

As this was my first turntable, i found it easy to set up and the sound is clear enough for the price. My only issue with it is that it will automatically attempt to connect to a bluetooth device after the record stops. After the record ends, the device says “the bluetooth device is ready to pair” and there is no way to turn this off. This player is great for beginners and entry in to the turntable world. Things to note: - You can’t close the lid with a record on it. Kind of annoying, but not a big deal. - you have to manually place where the needle is going to drop. There’s a lever that lowers and raises it slowly when starting or stopping, but it’s up to you to get it on the right spot. - sound quality is just okay. - the most annoying thing by far is the Chinese Bluetooth lady that yells at you the second your album finishes.
