  • Makes me happy to play my old records!
Color: Brown Wood
The media could not be loaded. This turntable reminds me of what I used growing up in the 70’s and 80’s. The sound is good, looks great on my bookshelf and makes me happy! Listening to all my old records brings back memories of simple treasured times, life was good! If you are thinking about buying it…don’t hesitate, it is worth it!❤️ * I am thinking about finding some speakers to go with it or using my Bose Bluetooth device just to bring back the crazy loud sound that my mom would yell “turn it down”!! 😂😂 ... show more

  • The Little Turn Table That Could: Exceeded My Expectations Several Times Over
Color: Yellow Wood
When I started watching vinyl collector videos, and subsequently began putting together my own dream collection I made one HUGE mistake. I spent more time tracking down the rare albums I remembered, and finagling deals to secure them that I had completely neglected to consider not only what I was going to play them, but the playback sound quality as well. It later occurred to me that I needed to have spent as much time (if not more) in researching stereo equipment than I had in the selection of music I chose. Unfortunately, none of the vinyl aficionado influencer videos I watched ever touched upon this all important subject. Ironically, long gone are the days of the rack stereo cabinet systems, which were essential to the audiophile in my younger days when I originally collected records. Needless to say, I was in a bit of a quandary in regards to how to resolve this singular problem. After a few misses with personal play turntables, I decided to get a fairly conventional turntable (with dust-cover & head-phone jack), a preamp, and a nice set of bookshelf speakers. I chose this turntable for the above reasons, and if I had known what I know now I could've saved myself a lot of time and money. This turntable boasts enough sound quality where it can be used unaided by other components to boost its sound. If you live in an apartment it is sufficient enough to fill your space with quality audio, whereas others I have tried had either no bass or volume, and where practically worthless unless used with headphones. Not so with this turntable. Although, I did still get the preamp, and book-shelf speakers I mentioned above, it is more so for those times when I might want to feel the power of a vintage rack stereo system, However, rest assured that if you buy this turntable as a stand-alone, you will be able to listen to your vinyl in a manner that will truly allow you to appreciate the music you deserve. ... show more

  • Pictures do not give it justice!
Color: Yellow Wood
This isn't one of those 5 stars and be done review! We got this to replace our old "Sound Design" belt drive turntable and the demensions of this fit our old one exactly! The top cover swivels up and down smoothly without it snapping down on the table itself. The speed selector is smooth and crisp, setting the needle us also smooth. When you lower the needle on the record, it has a slow piston like drop onto the record so that it will no damage the record you want to hear. The legs are sturdy and do a good job of absorbing shaking/vibrations while playing. (I only know this because my 3 yr old daughter and I were jumping up and down right next to it while playing Linkin Park). Now for the sound quality: My wife and I did a side by side comparison from our old one to this new turntable and even on some of our older records the needle on this just seems to read along the grooves so much smoother. Our oldest record (1908 78) played as if it was just pressed. We still reccomend cleaning your records before playing because the needle is that fine, it will catch any imperfections! If I did not say it above, we played our 33's, 45's, and 78's with no problem! The stock speakers that come with it and the adjustment knob I think are ideal for someone with a small apartment, I however like it loud so being able to hook it up to our exisiting eq and speakers is a nice touch! We got this for the sole purpose of playing records, not so much for the Bluetooth capability but it is a nice little setup for someone who would make use of the feature. So for a recap on my long winded review: 5 Stars: Build and Durability 5 Stars: Ease of use/setup 5 Stars: Sound quality and Versatility (Plays 33's, 45's, and 78's) 5 Stars: Overall appearance and Build! Thank you, hope this helps to sway ones mind over the edge to buy this!!! ... show more

  • good for beginners
Color: Brown Wood
I got the dark wood color. Sounds pretty good, although I haven’t tested the bluetooth option yet. No usage instructions came in the box, and this was my first record player, so I was a little confused at first on what I was doing, but it’s pretty simple to figure out. Sometimes lifting the needle up with the lever it gives you doesn't lift it up perfectly straight, so it looks like it can easily scratch a record if you’re not careful. Otherwise, plays with pretty good sound, great for beginners (although I’m not an expert). ... show more

  • Lovely turntable but external speakers 100% required
Color: Yellow Wood
This is a really nice turntable. I was looking for a turntable with really great sound quality in the hopes that I wouldn’t have to buy any additional speakers to connect it to. But to be honest I’m not sure this one has the best internal speakers. If you’re an audiophile at all you’re not going to be satisfied with the sound quality and will most likely want to connect this to an external speaker. But it’s easy to get set up and I love how it looks. The acrylic dust shield is nice and closes quietly. Overall 4/5 stars. ... show more

  • This worked for me!
Color: Brown Wood
I was looking for an inexpensive record player to have fun with. Haven't had a record player since I was a kid in the 80's. I have friends who've spent thousands on record players and aren't super happy with them. I read reviews for every record player on here from $79+ and settled on this one. I didn't care about bluetooth so haven't tried that feature but wanted built in speakers. I'm SUPER happy with this purchase. Worked out of the box - the only thing you have to do is insert the lid into the brackets. Sounds great in my little nyc apartment. If you are on the fence, go for it! ... show more

  • Good all in one
Color: Black Wood
If you are looking for something to just play records and aren’t expecting amazing sound, this is great. I just use it for my old records and to play a few Frozen soundtracks for my granddaughters. We love it!
