I NEVER write reviews, but because these were such a bargain and Win for us moving into a new house, I thought I would help others. We needed some decent stools for kids at the kitchen "Island",, and these are great. They have such a strongly charged cylinder for adjustment that only the heavy adults in our house can push down. This is fine by me because I don't want kids pulling the adjustment lever and bottoming them out. ONLY COMPLAINT!... The stitching on the seats was advertised as a lighter color than what we received. They look off-white or even borderline gray in the picture, and what we received is more of a tan-brown stitching. Not a huge issue with our aesthetic, but slightly disappointing because it's a little out of place. Otherwise, well-made, comfy, and seemingly long lasting product for an extremely reasonable price. I work in the Furniture industry by the way, so I'm not saying I'm a pro or should definitely be listened too, but I know Inexpensive vs High Quality, and somehow they got both here!
