  • Off grid solar setup
Size: Extended Battery Life Kit Color: 5.5kWh
Works good so far! We shall see in the long run how well it works. Will be used daily in northern Maine for off grid homestead.

  • Solar panel charging is sloooow
It works great when charged, but the solar panels on a sunny day won't recharge all the way.

  • Unique new power station that can power the whole house
Size: Extended Battery Life Kit Color: 5.5kWh
This unit is best thought of as two 1920w 120v power stations which can be phase locked to produce 240v which share the same battery. It is a great minimal system to run the whole house ( minus the electric hot water tank). When grid power fails I turn off the main breaker to disconnect from the grid then plug in the Apex 300 into a 14-50 RV outlet and power is restored. With 2 fridges, a chest freezer and normal lights.. etc.. I pull ~850w on each 120v leg of the Apex 300. Luckily my load is pretty balanced on both legs of my circuit box. Remember, for 120v load you have two separate ~1920w inverters. The only way to pull the claimed 3840w from a single device is with a 240v load. I get 4-6 hours with one B300K battery. When the battery gets below 50% I fire up a 3000w generator with the 30a charging cable and can charge at a near twice by discharge rate. In an extended outage I run the generator 25% of the time . You can see the load on each leg in the app. Also, you have to go in advanced mode on the app to up the charging amps to get more than 12a charging from the grid. This is missing in their documentation. I see the Apex 300 as a reasonable minimum setup to run a the whole house. Next step up from running extension cords to a smaller power station in an outage. My solution is still short of having a proper transfer switch. ... show more

  • So much power for an inexpensive cost.
Size: Extended Battery Life Kit Color: 5.5kWh
This beast has so much power. Not as many options as others but the good totally outweighs the lack of usb chargers lol. Yes it is heavy , but I purchased a cart an problem solved. The price is inexpensive. I purchased the bluetti solar4x and solar charging is now incredible.

  • Apex300 HUGE solar charge limitation! Read before buying, this info isn't advertised or easy to find
Size: Extended Battery Life Kit Color: 5.5kWh
I bought this Apex 300 and B300k in November 2025. I also own a Bluetti AC200L that I purchased in July 2025. I had to return the Apex 300 due to the inability of the Apex 300 to do what it says it can do. The Specs say that it can handle up to 2400 watts via 2 separate 1200 watt receptacles. The problem is that the Apex 300 has voltage and amperage limitations that prevent the user from doing so. There are no solar panels that can work within the extremely limited range. Currently the highest wattage panel available that has specs within range is 600 watts, but that is only one 600 watt panel per 1200 watt receptacle for a maximum solar input of 1200 watts in this case. They do sell a solar panel kit that will get you 800 watts using both ports, but you would get higher wattage for less money just buying two 600 watt panels. You have to say within a 60v and 20a limit, preventing a series or parallel connection. Other than that it is a good machine. Bluetti handled the return without much issue, although the entire return took around 2 weeks to complete. By the time I had the refund every other product I was considering went off sale and every battery went off sale and many also went out of stock. So I missed out on a couple thousand dollars of savings because of how long the return process took to complete. I had to pay far more money to get a battery, so much that I no longer can afford the power center inverter that is needed to run the system. Now my solar array that would have been up and running for weeks already, is now a distant dream, several months away or more as I have little way to come up with all that extra money needed. I was short by a few thousand dollars once the sales ended on the other products. I am now short by just over $600 for the replacement selections. So keep in mind that while you MAY get a refund (it took significant work to accomplish the return and refund). That is a disappointment as I spent months preparing for those sales and more than a year planning for it financially, just to miss out on all of it due to an incorrectly advertised product. Would I recommend the Apex 300? Maybe... provided you have fuel generators or grid power to charge and that works for you. I would not recommend the Apex 300 if you need solar input for charging due to the limitations. These are great for emergency use but if you are building a solar system to power your home, you might be better off building your own. ... show more

  • Does Everything
Size: Extended Battery Life Kit Color: 5.5kWh
Update 3: returning stars because they fixed the issue caused by the firmware update. There are still a number of minor issues however Update 2: dinging another 2 stars because after the most recent update I know have to physically unplug my solar every day to get it to start working. Honestly should if this can't do solar in the slightest I can't say it is worth the price at all. Update: have to ding this one star for the 60V 20A limit on the DC inputs. That combination of maximums makes it impossible to combine 90% of most solar panels and if you go 1v over 60 it shuts down. Honestly shocking how much this thing can do all on its own. I live in a 1 story 3b2ba in Texas and it can handle my whole house load most of the time. Solar is incredibly easy to set up at any level and the app is informative and useful. I would definitely recommend getting the generator 30A cable it really opens up so many options. ... show more
