I made the mistake of getting this to replace a valve core on my car without realizing that this is designed for residential HVAC systems. When I saw the low price and everything that is included, I didn't want to miss this bargain, so I bought it without checking the details. And what a bargain it is, if it was just the tool it would be a good price but when you add in the 2 reversing wrenches, adapters, and valve cores, that is when it becomes a fantastic bargain. Unfortunately, since I am not able to currently test it, I did carefully examine the tool, and it looks like a quality piece that will work as intended. My rating is based on the quality of the valve core removing tool and the value of the entire kit.

This is a good kit to have around for home repairs and maintenance. The ratchet wrenches are decent. I have better ratchet wrenches, but I've torqued on these fairly hard and they hold up, so I suspect they are ample for what this kit is intended for. I like the included tips, and the core remover seems solidly built. For all the parts included at the price, this seems like a good value.

The tools are of decent quality. The Wrench set works well. Do not have an opportunity to test the replacement kit yet, but inspection indicates good manufacturing quality. The full set is very much value priced.

Used this to vacuum down 2 mini split systems, it came apart on the second use. There is a circlip that holds the end piece on and it failed. I snapped it back together but can't trust it to hold a vaccume. Luckily I have another one to finish the job.

I'm not a journeyman HVAC repairman, but a fairly knowledgeable DIY homeowner. This valve core tool is considerably more sturdy than the one I currently own. The ball valve actuation on this tool is smooth and reassuring and the wrenches work smoothly. The right sizes of wrenches are included to service most central air units, refrigerators and freezers. This tool will allow removal of faulty Schrader valves while maintaining the integrity of the refrigerant. 5 stars!
