I replaced a "sputnik" chandalier (looked like a virus) in my new construction Town Home with this farmhouse style chandalier. I chose the brushed nickle to match my cabinet handles. Product arrived undamaged and securely packaged. No chips or damage to the glass basins or the metal frame. There are 3 options of hanging length from your ceiling, which is nice for customisation. Does not inude light bulbs for the less studious of purchasers that don't fully read into the product descriptions. Listed dimensions are accurate and the actual install is a breeze if you have no issues like I did. The bad about this chandalier is definitely the instructions to mount and the quality of the mounting plate/machine screws they include with product. The instructions are not very clear and offer absolutely no alternative descriptions of potential problems during install. A less handy person would definitely need to hire someone. Also, I had to go to Lowes to replace the machine screws and mounting plate that stripped out during installation. Very low quality material used for these pieces which isn't what you want considering it's the only thing suspending it over a typically populated area. But all in all, its a very handsome product and works very well. Now that I installed it and am living with it, I am pleased with my purchase. 4 out 5 stars due to the above problems I listed. ... show more

First of all this is a great looking piece and looks way more expensive than 200 bucks. Installation is very easy and there were no broken pieces. The glass was placed well and all the instructions were clear. Now to the part which made me take off stars. A lot of units have the lamp crooked. If you search the reviews you will find that a lot of people had the issue. So, If you buy it. The first thing you want to do is to install the glass dome (should take you 5 to 10 mins). Have someone lift it and see if it is crooked or straight. If it is crooked then return it because fixing it is almost impossible as the joints are welded. If you are lucky then this is a 5 star piece. In my case, It was crooked but I had a handyman install it, so it was too late to redo it. So, I loosed the screw holding the glass and tilted it a bit, added superglue, tape and after 24 hrs it was a bit more presentable. Check that before installing, and if it is good, then you are golden. Everything else is amazing as you can see in the photo ... show more
