I have researched and researched before settling on this honey extractor. For the price, you won’t find a better deal out there. I paid around $250 at the time of this writing. Materials: they didn’t skimp on the materials here. Non-magnetic stainless steel was used throughout. This isn’t the cheap magnetic stainless steel that most of your home appliances are made of. I did a magnet test on the legs, The tub, and the basket. All are non magnetic stainless steel. I couldn’t be happier about this. Build/construction: the build of this extractor is very well made. The legs are sturdy and fit together easily. I ended up mounting the extractor to a .75 plywood base to help with initial wobble during extraction. The wobble is only there for the first bit of extraction as every frame is not equal in weight with honey. Once extraction has been done for a little while, you can easily walk away because it is smooth after that. The inside of the extractor is smooth and any welds were well done. It was a bit dirty from manufacturing, but that is to be expected. You should expect to clean it out before use anyway. I wiped it down with a sponge and water. I also cleaned out the hole where the bearing is to get rid of any grease that may have been applied here. Once clean, I replaced it with food grade grease. This also helps keep the bearing in place, however it can also cause the bearing to stick to the bottom of the basket so be sure and check if you remove the basket. Another key thing to mention about the extractor is that some reviews said the bottom was flat. I don’t know if it used to be or not, but mine is clearly comical which is very nice. It slopes up towards the center which keeps the bearing up above a reasonable level and of honey. I think four frames should extract easily and remain below this level. Basket: the basket was well made. There were a few tack welds that were a little rough, but nothing too bad. They were a lot better than I can do. Basically just don’t expect to be able to use a paper towel to clean the basket without it snagging here and there. Overall very pleased with the basket. The lid: the lid was very well made. There are two plexiglass halves that you can open individually. One side has a nice magnet to hold it up without needing to hold it. This is especially nice when loading/unloading frames. I wish they would have put the magnet on both sides because it can get annoying when you have the other side up and it falls back down on you. Also the side with the magnet will press a switch when open to make the motor shut off or to prevent it from turning on. This is a safety feature that is nice but also can be a pain if you forget about it. Removal and reinstallation of the lid can be a little tricky. Well not removal, but installation can be. You have to line up the coupling and also get the 4 hold down bolts lined up which can be tricky but not impossible. Grab a helper and it should go relatively smoothly. The drain is nice being that it is stainless however the cap doesn’t stay up very easily. I think I need to add a washer so that the screw can tighten up a little more to hold the cap open when I want it to be. Not a huge deal. Otherwise it is good quality. Motor: the motor does a good job of turning the extractor to let you go off and do other things. It has a speed dial that you can turn to get the speed to where you want it. There is also an on/off switch to turn it off and on if you want to. The plug is long enough to reach an outlet that is nearby. It could probably be slightly longer, but it is plenty long the way it is. There is a little plastic/rubber bushing that goes between the two cross couplings that was damaged on my extractor however I contacted the seller and they were quick to get a replacement sent out and more than took care of the problem. Also as a side note, the extractor still worked when we had the broken bushing in, but it probably wouldn’t have lasted very long. Very pleased with the seller taking care of it and getting us back up to 100%. Spare parts: there were plenty of extra Spare parts that really shows the seller wants you to have what you need to get up and running. For the lid, there are little bolts and nuts that could easily get lost, but they Provided plenty of spares to account for an occasional drop. They also supplied an additional J bolt that is used to mount the lid on. An extra gasket was also supplied for the honey gate and Teflon tape was also supplied for installing the Honey gate. They even supplied an adjustable wrench for assembly of everything. This extractor is probably the best you can get for the money. There’s no reason to go manual when you can get this electric extractor for such a reasonable price. The quality is in this one and you can’t go wrong with this purchase.

I have used the Vingli 4 frame electric extractor three time this spring. Overall, I am very pleased. Like all extractors, this one will walk all over if you don't mount it on some plywood. I used a 2 1/2' x 2 1/2' piece and it works very well. It is sturdy, and should last for a long time. The customer support at Vingli were responsive to my inquiries. I have only a few cons: 1.) The drum isn't perfectly round, and I have to be sure and place the motor arm in a certain way to avoid the basket touching the drum when it spins. 2.) The rear edges of the metal legs are SHARP!!!! Be CAREFUL when you lift it! (Ask me how I know!!!) 3.) The hub for the basket axle contains a steel ball bearing that reduces friction on the spinning axle. This ball bearing IS NOT fixed and it CAN fall out when you are cleaning, etc. DON'T LOSE IT!!! 4.) The drum cover should have magnets on Both sides instead of only one. 5.) The plexiglass lid/cover halves were poorly made, and I had to use a dremel tool to enlarge the slot for the safety switch. Otherwise, the lid wouldn't close! 6.) The J bolts for attaching the motor arm do not stay upright. This makes installing the motor a pain, unless you have a helper to hold the J bolts while you lower the motor arm.

The media could not be loaded. Good value. I would say. Be careful when you clean and take apart/put back together. The center piece of metal lid where motor and controller mount to; and the legs are razor sharp on edges. Sand those down when you get it before assembly. Can cut your fingers off on any of the edges. Thanks

I purchased the Vingli four frame. I also have a different manufacturers 4 frame. Here are some of the good things about the Vingli. First and foremost it has NO tack welds to secure the legs. For anyone purchasing a honey extractor. What you need to know is that if you do not bolt them down to the floor or do something to secure them they will walk all over the place. Imagine your clothes washing machine without rubber feet keeping it from walking. That is what you have with a honey extractor. Back to the tack welds Vingli secures the legs with bolts NOT tack welds. Those tack welds look better and I think make it slightly easier to install the legs. But maybe I am paranoid but with the amount of vibration a honey extractor generates I fear over time that the Tack welds will fail. Maybe I am paranoid but that is my opinion. Another thing I like about the Vingli is the adjustable legs you can adjust it so that a 5 gallon bucket will go under the spout. Vingli's Honey gate is Cast aluminum not plastic. I think that the Honey extractors like to exaggerate the spin rate. Vingli says theirs spins at 1250 rpm max my other extractor spins at 1400 rpm. I am call BS on both of them. First off you would not want to spin it that fast. Your honeycomb is not made of kevlar it would tear apart. But if you can get half those speeds I would be shocked. For the money I think the Vingli is the best on the market.
