I put the entire bed together, to realize that the board (part of steps 1 & 2) that holds the slat support together and connects the left and the right side of the frame is too short. The shortness of the board is causing the sides of the bed to bow in and not leaving enough width to install the slats. I have reached out to customer service to see if I can get a new “longer” board. I will update once they respond.

Okay so the first one came damaged. But the seller was fantastic and sent out a replacement. It was a slow build but worth it. Assembly was easy, instructions were simple to follow and the build quality is good. It looks fantastic assembled and the storage space in the headboard is fantastic. It was a rocky start at first but between the sellers speed, kindness, and actual product quality I feel like everything worked out well. Highly recommend if you're thinking about this frame you get it.
