It isn't the thickest wood, but at that price I didn't expect it. The wood comes with a nice shade of stain, but I bought some deck protect sealant and gave all the wood a coat of it for extra protection. The pieces go together pretty easy, just take your time and look at the numbered instruction. Much easier than some of the furniture pieces that you have to put together. The 2 screw holes on each roof piece are hard to find, just measure 4" up from the bottom and 11/2" in from each side. The shed will have to be secured to the ground somehow, they supply some pieces to do this but I'm not quite sure how to do it . No big deal, and I would buy this again. ... show more

It took me like 2 and a half hours to build by myself since I made a mistake and put a piece on the wrong side. Overall somewhat easy to follow just pay attention. The closing piece of wood for the main door was missing, luckily I had a bolt lock laying around. Had to align it so screws didn’t poke out. I give it four stars because for the price it’s what I needed but the material may not last. Since the bottom legs chipped easily, it does make me wonder how waterproof it may be. Time will tell, but right now I’m satisfied. ... show more
