I read the reviews before purchasing this chair, and I almost decided not to purchase because of the comments about how difficult it was to assemble. My husband and I put the chair together in about 30 minutes. It was easy to do following the provided instructions. When I sat on it, I felt the rigid base, but this is before I gave it a chance to get to its final shape. The cushions are vacuum sealed and puff up once the plastic is cut. NOTE: Don't cut the plastic until the chair is assembled with no problems! Make sure all your pieces fit together. Once you cut the cushions open, you cannot return the chair. (There are bright orange stickers on the cushions that say this.) We rated the chair a bit lower on comfort, but it's perfect for the little room it's in. i have young kids so this is a great alternative rather than a full-size couch. all of the cushion covers come off which is really handy for washing. it was hard to put together alone because some of the holes didn't line up perfectly, but still only took me about an hour. the cushions have velcro to keep them in place. it's not the softest but is great for a play area or if you need more affordable seating. i can fit myself and two kids on it. ... show more

I was actually really surprised with the quality and comfort of this chair for the price. I purchased a different reclining chair from Amazon and sent it back because it was so uncomfortable. This actually feels sturdy and it will be a perfect spot to curl up with a blanket I also bought on Amazon.. I normally don’t write reviews but I read so many reviews when shopping for this chair, I wanted to provide my own honest feedback to help others. Shipped very quickly. Easy to assemble, and a very cute small sofa. My only issue is that the fabric has not lost the wrinkles from being vacuum-packed. They aren't horribly obvious, but they do look a little wrinkly. I may try to steam them to see if that helps. This is for my office, not my home, so it won't get a ton of use. I think it is more suited to light use, not for a house with a lot of heavy activity. Perfect for my purposes! ... show more
