I wanted an inexpensive sofa that looks good and is comfortable. Something long enough that a person could sleep on as well. There were few that satisfied all the areas I was looking at but this one fit the bill. My experience is as follows, the first order was delivered where the box it was shipped in was severely damaged. I happened to be home when the delivery driver brought it to the door and I asked him what he thought as well. I decided to reject the delivery and inform the vendor whom I purchased from of the situation and they resent a new product within a few days. The box was fine and I assembled over the next weekend. All parts were accounted for as well as having a couple small hardware parts extra. The assembly is generally straight forward but I reversed a couple of parts which had to be undone and placed correctly as parts of the instructions make it look a bit unclear as to direction. Not a big deal but instructions could be improved upon. I assembled it by myself taking care not to over torque both the screws and the structure as it was being assembled carefully move/shift in position as instructions showed. This is not a piece of furniture that you buy from a furniture store arriving fully assembled with lots of nails/screws to keep the build solid enough to handle roughly, jump on without fearing it could break (although some do). Comparatively, for that kind of build, you will pay many multiples more for. It will be bulkier too. But...for my use where I just want to sit/lie and share with others to watch TV or hangout I think it's fine. I purchased the green one to add some pop in the room as I thought black would be too dark and may show dust and such too easy. The lighter colored one was my second option but I have a light brown carpet and wanted some contrast. After assembly I was tired and found it was more comfortable than expected to lie down on. Seems solid enough but if I were to move it pivot in a way as to not over torque (bending) the structure as the included screws are the only things holding things together. Two people would be ideal but I can carefully move it around by myself. The last thing is that the hex key it came with didn't last through the complete assembly process and started to wear out prior to completing the process. While I did have to back track to correct wrongly positioning something, resulting in unscrewing and re-screwing, which added to the wear on the hex key, I didn't expect it would start wearing away at the corners during the process. Luckily, I had an extra hex key around to complete assembly. The backing and pillows arrive vacuum sealed and when opened, allows air to start the stuffing to puff out to full size withing a reasonable amount of time. No overly noxious smells either. Anything airs out shortly. To recap, I find this a good purchase which included shipping that beat out many others for my needs in sizing and price. While I do not expect it to last a decade, for the time I expect to spend in new apartment it should do just fine. I do not expect to be taking this with me when I move down the road, whenever that is but it will do fine for expected use that includes napping on. While its possible to move, I would save the instructions and consider some de-assembly if you want to move it to the next place to avoid damaging where a screw could rip out. But for a once assembled and leave it in place unit, I think it will hold up fairly well. It's not a couch to jump up and down on (kids/adult activities) but for just sitting or stretching out, it will be fine. If it lasts for 3 to 5 years, I will consider it money well spent for something that is functionally filling my needs rather than being heirloom. Beats spending well over a grand for something that may not even last 10 years! So all things considered including the price, I say its at "least" 4 stars. As a temporary piece to use for a few years or so AND something you don't need to take along when you move though possible, it's 5 Star purchase. ... show more

For thew price I didn't expect great quality. However, only having this sofa a few weeks, I am pleasantly surprised how sturdy and comfortable it is. I assembled it in only an hour. At first I thought the back cushions were missing, but they were stored in the armrests! My friends are amazed how nice this sofa is and how great it looks in my living room! For the price I was SKEPTICAL but bought for my office so I was fine to chance it. SO GLAD I DID. It’s not the comfiest cough ever, but it looks high end and the material is good. Assembly was a bit rough but it’s the height and size of a standard couch and hands down the best price ever for that.

The cushions are not thick. I’ve managed to pad it with fluffy throws and pillows and I’ve actually been able to nap on it now. I still like the looks and it is a heavy piece of furniture and seems very sturdy, just not comfortable without lots of work on it.

The couch was delivered on one large box. Heavy yet easy to slide from the porch. Taking the process out the box and assembly was long, but easy with every step in the instructions. Once fully assembled the cushions fully expanded and the couch is bigger than seen online, which is a first ever. Comfortable for taking a nap, watching a movies or binge watching television series. Nice looking sofa but be sure to pay attention to the assembly directions when installing the seat support platform. It will fit in two positions but only one is correct. Assembly instructions fail to mention that the bottom seat support platform has to be placed in only one configuration even though it looks and fits in two positions! It will snap into place and allow you to screw it together in the WRONG orientation You then will discover that the opposite side will not line up properly and have to unscrew it and reverse the position. My fault for not paying closer attention to details. One of the armrests was damaged but reached out to manufacturer/seller and they sent a replacement very quickly. Excellent after sale customer support! Edit: Fatal flaw in the armrests causes them to collapse into a permanent deformation. Manufacturer sent replacements the first time, which required disassembling the sofa to replace, but same thing happened to replacement armrests within a dew days. Any pressure on the armrests will cause them to partially collapse. I now have an obvious "pothole" in each armrest. They must have used very cheap construction materials for the armrests. ... show more
