We bought this for my mother in law that moved from her home to an apartment. The one thing she missed was a fireplace and this was a great replacement for the real thing. It is well made and very pretty.

Wow a million pieces. Not the problem though. This is a beautiful piece. However when it was time to install the doors. I took them out and over half the screws that hold the glass in, on both doors weee striped loose and in the box. by this time I had 5 hours of assembly then the light cord has a malfunction one side of power cord doesn’t work. All I want is replacement cord for the lights ... show more

61 components have to be combined to assemble the unit utilizing 414 fasteners( bolts and screws) Had this information been communicated on the Amazon website I WOULD NOT have purchased the stand. The quality of the “ engineered” wood is low. The lights are attached using a low quality adhesive strip. I was advised by the company when I wanted to return it, but I would have to disassemble it!!!! So they expect me to remove the 414 screws and bolts and put everything back in the box they shipped it to me in!!!! I did read all of the reviews on Amazon’s website before making the purchase I find it hard to believe that they have not received any complaints actually documenting the issues that I had. So I’m probably doubtful that this review will make it to this site Consumer beware!!! ... show more

The fireplace is well-made and fairly easy to put together. It begins to heat the room as soon as you turn it on. It is the perfect height to hide cords for a wall-mounted tv.
