I'll try to make this as detailed as possible and help you decide if this is worth purchasing for yourself. 1. Shipping and Assembly: a. I live in the New York ~ Boston corridor and it was shipped from NJ. I had the chair on my doorstep the next day after purchase. b. Assembly is straightforward - 8 bolts w/washers all the same size into pre-drilled holes. 5mm allen wrench is provided, but if you have your own it will be easier to assemble. c. Zipping on the armrests was actually the most difficult part of assembly. One of them took me 15min alone to get on. 2. Construction: a. For 'entry level' furniture this is very well built. The lower box frame is made up of two pieces....very soundly made wooden frames (picture 1) that comes with 8 - 3 inch legs that screw into pre-drilled 5/16th holes. b. The seat and footrest pieces are separate. I have NOT noticed them shifting or drifting apart from each other yet, but if they ever do....a few 3 inch screws should secure the two pieces together (if necessary). c. The back rest is just a hard back panel. While stable it offers NO comfort or back support. (picture 2) d. There is a gap between the bottom of the back board and the seat cushion. I bought a 36 inch (tubular) body pillow to help fill in the empty space. PROS: 1. A great price for a Chaise Lounge. 2. Can lay sideways, fits two people, great for napping, reading, TV, etc. 3. Minimal footprint. Well crafted. 4. The foam seat is well made....really heavy. It does NOT move or slide around, hold the two frame pieces together with it's weight alone. 5. NO ODORS / degassing out of the box. You can use this right away. CONS: 1. Back pillow (already noted) you'll want something to fill that space. 2. Short legs, very low to the ground. (I swapped out the 3 inch legs for 6 inch wooden legs....big improvement. 3. THIS IS MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT - LOW quality pillow fillers (pictures 3, 4 and 5). These pillows come filled with a cheap fiber filler and cotton sacks of low quality foam). If you are over 160lbs you are gonna feel the boxy frame of this Chaise right thru these pillows.* MY SOLUTION: I bought a 5lb bag of Memory Foam bits and threw away the factory stuffing from all 4 pillows. I refilled with the memory foam and now all of the pillows are super comfy, squishy. I can no loner feel the frame of the Chaise. The armrests are also filled with the same low quality fiber....I may refill them too... FINAL VERDICT: Big thumbs up. It's a solid well made chair. You can NOT stretch out for a full nights sleep, or use as a guest bed, but for younger kids this would be excellent. If you like that way the ad looks, you'll love it......but swap out the pillow fillers with memory foam....that's a solid upgrade that turns a 4star chair into a 5star. Oh my god I love it so much!!!! Assembly was simple, it’s super comfy, and it fits perfectly in my home library!!! FedEx was dumb with delivery but that’s not the fault of the product manufacturer. I have to admit I was surprised opening up the boxes to find that all of the cushions were vacuum sealed inside and my initial thought was that I had made a mistake with the purchase. But I loved the color and had seen photos in reviews that looked great so I proceeded, even though I felt cautious. 45 minutes of assembly ended up being worth it! The instructions were a bit confusing, they either had the armrests mislabeled in my package or show Right and Left incorrectly, idk. Either way, we figured it out. It wasn't too difficult overall & the pillows fluffed up well once opened. I will say that the chair is a bit low to the ground, and the back support is quite low as well, but we are going to get some larger, and more supportive pillows for the back to solve that issue. I am so happy with this chair, it replaced an oversized round swivel chair we had that just didn't quite fit the bill. I can't wait to lounge and read in it! I was a bit skeptical about this chair due to it coming from amazon... not hate to you amazon. Butttt I was pleasantly surprised! I LOVE this chair. So soft, comfortable, and large enough for my two cats, dog, and I to all snuggle up on. It was easy to put together, a lot of trash but that is expected. The only downside if I had to find one, is the height of the back of the chair. It is a little low, and I have minimal neck support, but if I were to put some extra pillows behind me, it would be perfect! ... show more

Easy to assemble, comfortable, and huge! The only thing I would change about this chair is for the back cushions to be a little thicker. I just use the decorative side cushions to double up on the back and am perfectly comfortable. Love it and great price!

If you value your neck, shoulders and back this lounge is not for you. If you don’t want to have neck, back and shoulder pain this lounge is not for you. While this item may look “nice” your body will not feel nice at all. I was happy to receive it but that smile left within 1 hour of me sitting on it after setting up. The seller was pretty sketchy about the return knowing the item cannot be returned as stated in their manual since it expands once you cut the plastic to assemble. But somehow they wanted to make Amazon think the return would be the answer. It would be a reason to deny a refund after the return. Furthermore the couch is developing a big puff in the middle of the seat and I also realized the item also has less back support due to the length of the sofa not covering the base of the lounge underneath the pillow. So not only is the back of the lounge way too short for support the pillows have no base to stay up. This was a grueling dispute process back and forth with a sketchy seller. Amazon also had many associates not doing their job properly but I finally got in touch with someone who really helped me at the very end and she made things right by doing her best to help me. I still have to keep the couch due to not being able to return and since I have limited space I have to sit on it. Pain every time and I am a very healthy well made being. I just need a lounge that doesn’t make me feel awful and strangled. The side arm pillows are not enough support either. I had to order a pricey pillow set made for post surgery just to support my neck, shoulders and back and help me repair from the strain and stress already done in my body by this lounge. This takes away the look of the lounge, space and length which was the only thing left since it’s huge and not the same color. I’m not sure where the other great reviews come from but I see a bunch of dogs lounging on the chairs that don’t need back support. Weird. ... show more
