I did have to order a different cord than what came with the package but works great. Love the built in sun visor that doubles as a screen protector when storing.

I had high hopes for this one… After all the research I did… I landed on this brand and model. I received a package where 2 seals on the Viltrox box had already been cut… (so the one I received was most likely used and returned)…. When I first plugged it in, there was just a black screen (pink if you pressed certain buttons). After trying the battery and a Usb-c cable, the screen would come on normally 2/25 times. Every other time, it was solid black or fuzzy. I also tried multiple HDMI cables and sources… but it’s obviously the monitor that is the problem. It’s really frustrating to have to send it back and do more research on other brands. The picture on the monitor looked great… when it worked… but I’m not paying $250+ for a monitor that I have to turn off and on until it starts up right. Plus, that wouldn’t last long term anyway. I sent it back and emailed Viltrox. No response. I imagine the first person that received this monitor… found out it wasn’t working and sent it back… Then it was put right back on the shelf without any testing, fixing, or even repackaging… then, a monitor that they should have known was broken, was sent to me… only to be returned. The Amazon box wasn’t opened, only the Viltrox box. I paid for a “New” monitor, not a used one. I was a first and last-time Viltrox customer. Viltrox is welcome to try and win me back by sending me a working one, but I’m not holding me breath… I’d probably have better chances of winning the lottery. I don’t recommend buying this product.

Simple to mount/demount, very bright and sharp display. Looks awesome on (any) rig! Function buttons are easy to program. The provided battery is on a small size. I’d say it might lasts 30-40 minutes of continuous use. Fortunately larger batteries are reasonable priced. It comes with a screen protector which is awesome. My only challenge is this display does not work with any refresh rate over 30fps. So if you are primarily/occasionally shooting 50/60/120 etc. The device becomes useless. However if this feature can be added via software update it can become a real powerhouse of a device.

Muy completo el monitor (sunhood, batería, cables, etc,), solo me gustaría hacer update a esta review cuando tenga mayor uso (lo llevo usando poco más de tres semanas), pues hasta ahora funciona muy bien (el único detalle algo molesto es que hay un poco de delay en 24fps, lo demás todo bien)

For me everything is about value. Getting what I specifically need and spending as little as possible without sacrificing that need. I do a mix of indoor and outdoor shooting. I always struggle outdoor either being in a position I can’t use my viewfinder or the LCD is small and hard to tell what’s in focus for me. I wanted 2,000 NITS or better and touchscreen but didn’t want to pay over $500 for the Atmos Ninja even though it’s also great. This brightness and weight and the fact that it comes with easily removable sunshade and battery, at a great mid range price, I don’t see how it can be beat, maybe only copied
